I love reading what people imagine the album will sound like, I honestly have no idea except I would definitely like it if she did a few upbeat songs.
I adored BTD's hip-hop beats and wouldn't mind hearing them from time to time but I doubt they'll ever come back and I don't have a problem with that. She moved on, no need to repeat yourself if you don't want to.
I'm here to see whatever she decides to do, and listening to Ronson's productions, I'm excited to see what they'll do together

"Old Money" has been haunting me since the first listen.  And the more I listened, the more I was playing flims in my head.  Finally, I realized that Old Money and Gatsby are made for each other.  I combed through the entired film Wednesday and I think the video really captures the feelings I get.

Ever since I heard the title I thought of great gatsby bc that's an adjective they use for the people that have "classic" money aka old money and not new money. She also references y&b in the bad of my head I thought maybe she was supposed to use this song instead of young and beautiful for the soundtrack but kept it for herself. I love it so much my favorite off the album.

Why does this matter tho

So after listening to each song repeatedly i created unique cover artworks for each of them, ive tried to translate the emotions from the songs into the covers but i guess we'll see if i managed to do that!

Now I won't be able to listen to UV tomorrow without feeling somewhat guilty. It's so sad to think how many people she makes happy and still, she feels sad.
(It's so confusing tho, a few days ago a German interview was published where she said she has never been this happy. Not completely happy, but happier than ever)

All these interviews the past month are making me uncomfortable. And while she's being blunt and honest (which I can appreciate), it's painting her in a brand new light for me... one that's so drastically different than what I've imagined the last two and a half years I've been a fan. It's not a bad thing, but I feel pity... and I don't like feeling pity. I don't like worrying about someone that has brought me so much joy and opened my eyes to so many new things.
 
If she's not happy and feels out of touch with everying, as a fan it makes me feel strange for buying into it all: supporting her music, following her interviews/news, going to her concert, standing outside in the cold for three hours so I could meet her in the middle of the night... It makes me feel guilty in a weird way. Like she has no idea what her music does for some people. No idea how much it means seeing her peform and meeting her. She feels empty. So what's the point?

I played them all a single time. All I remember is that this is VERY different from BTD but equally as pleasing. You won't be dissapointed.

Will Lana Boards ever learn how to look up time zones
