k so i guess listening parties, fun radio shows, a fucking album with sounds lana has never done before, a world tour announcement and 500 photoshoots are all boring to you?

I love Change, I honestly started sobbing uncontrollably during it on Tuesday 
Think it's bc it sounds somewhat hopeful but deep down Lana feels pessimistic and knows there might never be change
 
(Or that's just me seeing as I'm a pessimist) 

I feel like Change is really underrated. I think the reason for that is that it's so intimate and full of raw-emotion which makes ot uncomfortable to listen to when you are not in the right mood. However, when you are it completely destroys you - and if you pay attention to it, then it's one of the best vocal deliveries on the album. Many of her songs are emotional and a good "soundtrack" for hard feelings. However I feel like Change is one of the few that is actually capable of completely breaking you down all on it's own

For me it's "Summer bummer". It has really grown on me. A lot.

The Coachella bashing is getting boring. The song may not be her strongest one but LfL has worse tracks

Love is extremely underrated. In my opinion, it has an inner magic in it, due to its anthemic and warmful aspect. The effort that was put in the music video also contributes to this magic. Unfortunately, the melody isn't really powerful, and the production neither. That's why its magic fades away with time. The acoustic version transmits it better. The magic works on me from time to time, but when I feel it, it's really something.
 
I also would like to hear what the Love Demo sounds like. Do we have any descriptions of it?
 
She really should do more acoustic songs, enough with the bops

Lyrically its weak... some of the lines are just like, why'd you do that...
And the production is weak and the "ooh, look what you made me do" could've worked but it just didn't
I'm not sure if she's trying to pull a Green Light and do something new and different.. it just sounds like anyone could've made this, there's nothing special about it or her vocals in it. The whole song is just bad but you can see the potential it had... even a great MV won't save this track lol

She didn't need that ugly remix to be successful in Europe. 

I mean, it's not like remixes are something new, there've been remixes of pretty much every song for decades now. But I agree, most remixes that are officially released suck.
 
I remember back when CD singles were still a thing, I was always incredibly disappointed when the B-side only included some bad remixes instead of previously unreleased tracks or live recordings.

Ngl, I'm real happy that the album turned out the way it did. It wasn't overly sweet and jovial and all that shit, there's tension to it, about wanting to live, and tbh who doesn't, can't relate to that? If someone wanted an album glossed over, I'm pretty sure other vices could cover those bases.

i honestly love the album all the way from track 1 to 16. coachella is the only minor speed bump. amazing

I'm still listening to it regularly (but not on a daily basis). Last sunday I woke up really depressed but after listening to LFL I felt so happy and relieved, it cleansed my soul.
But I nowadays skip tracks 7 & 8 and 12 & 13 which makes the album a lot better for me. Although I do like the skipped tracks individually.

Totally. To me, the good parts of this song are verses, which have a good melody and a quite good production. I also like the moment in the second chorus when she sings 'they say only the good die young', it's quite smooth. But the rest of the chorus can choke I'm not a fan of the Weeknd's voice... But this song had a lot of potential, I would die to hear the solo darker version too

I listen to the album everyday and I think it's her best one honestly

I've been listening to the record for on repeat til now. Aside from its various sounds, it's also so cohesive and idk it makes me feel like I'm sort of witnessing history even more keenly, so that's a plus. The record's so grounding

Yes – why should I read an entire page of "she's fake" in 2017 when all of this was already crappy journalism back in 2011/2012 and has been proven wrong ever since by Lana doing what she does... Even though the MusikExpress guy didn't think that Lana is fake but that's a really annoying way to start an article with.
