German weekly newspaper Die Zeit (one of Germany's biggest and most respected, serious newspapers) just published a pretty positive review of LFL (for those of you who can understand German: http://www.zeit.de/kultur/musik/2017-07/lana-del-rey-album-lust-for-life ) It's quite a big deal to get such an article there so maybe after all Lana's new album won't do that bad with critics as some of us first thought.

So she seems to sacrifice her musical carreer for the sake of the entire "Poppy project" (= making generic pop music to mock generic, dumb pop stars)...

Damn, that interview was so raw and emotional. She expands on ideas and questions in ways we haven't seen since she was burned during the Ultraviolence promo cycle with the "I wish I was dead already." She's such an honest person, to a fault, even when she's saying she doesn't want to answer a question. I really respect her as an artist and a human just trying to make a life.

I actually thought the Pitchfork interview was heartbreaking, the parts about not liking UV, saying danger was all she knew in her life, when she begins to cry while talking about seeing no color in the world, when she starts to say she doesn't know what the record was about.
 
But I loved that she backtracked her comments on feminism and that she appeared so candidly. You can really hear her mood changes in her answers though, when she begins to give short ones

I don't see how y'all already saying 'This is not my favorite album' or 'This is my favorite album'.... You just listened.. It took UV months to become my favorite album of all time!      

Pitchfork interview is fucking lit. So candid and laugh out loud and some moments and very serious on others. Best era.

Wow you guys really killed the hype. I was holding out until the official release but now I don't even know if I should listen to the album to be dissappointed.
 
Even ATRL is more positive than you guys.
 
People read this stuff and you could turn away potential listeners/buyers. Not that it's your responsibility to sell this record, I'm just sayin. A little positivity might not hurt.

Same. I know 4 songs now (Love, LFL, Coachella and GL) and haven't listened to SB or any snippets so the album will be quite fresh to me. I'm sooo excited, only 40 hours or so left...

I've always thought Lana is more the kind of artist who grows more on you listening to a whole album rather than singles, so I'm listening to the whole album in order without skipping any of the already released tracks and then I'll probably listen to what I loved the most from the first listen, but I will 100% respect the order of the tracklist in the first place
