Btw, people are speculating she has a collab with Taylor Swift for TS7. Idk if it could be possible but someone on Tumblr said she collaborated with a big charting artist recently, and Taylor finished recording her album at the end of February.

Which suggests to me that it hasn’t been worth frustrating her fans for, or needlessly holding up the new record for.
 
I personally believe that when she announced it in September of last year, she had it written or almost completely written, and had taken the accompanying photos, but had no publisher, and believed by announcing it she would begin a bidding war, one which either never materialized or which came to nothing after publishers reviewed the content.
 
I’m of course not sure of the number of copies, but I remember seeing the number 500 somewhere in the last four months.
 
It’s possible that it will be physically beautiful and almost a kind of art object in itself, and thus a sort of folk art piece.
 
I wish it the best as a project, but wish she would have just released NFR as soon as it was completed and not announced the poetry book until later. Naturally, it’s easy to see how she would have wanted them to be released simultaneously, especially if the book were commercially published. But such things take a lot of time and planning by experienced business professionals from often two companies working together, in this case Interscope and the publisher.
 
Silence from her and her team for 18 to 24 months or so and then an announcement of both the book and record and a release date would have been perfect.

First single(s) - Sept 2018 MAC & VB
 
Waits three full months (Oct, Nov, Dec)
 
Second single - Jan 2019 HIADT
 
Waits three full months (Feb, March, April)
 
Third single - May 2019 Doin’ Time
 
Hypothetically waits three full months
(June, July, Aug)
 
Fourth single - Sept 2019 Maleficent 2 song?
 
Hypothetically waits a final three full months (October, November, December) and BAM! Worst case scenario we literally get NFR top of 2020 in January.......

I honestly feel sorry for Lana (and this is coming from someone who’s been as pissed as the next person regarding this whole era). I truly feel like she poured her soul out for us on HIATD and NONE of us appreciated it. We’ve all been ungrateful/ begging for more/ harassing her from every avenue for months now. I didn’t really feel sorry for her up until this whole not showing up for the Met Gala situation. I know it sounds superficial, but I think this might be a cry for help on some level. I see her feeling disillusioned about something in a way (whether it be regarding fame, money, love, age, etc). I think we should really lay off, especially if we actually are getting a new song on May 20th (here’s hoping). I was the first to say I would never forgive Lana for this era, but now I’m having a change of heart. We all love her and no one else’s music has ever made us feel as understood as hers has. Shouldn’t that count for something more than our bitter petty jokes about Cha Cha Matcha and insta baddies on this trainwreck of a fan site??

Tbh I find the title "Doin' Time" pretty ugly but somehow it fits Lana and the NFR era. It's just me, I really can't with this title, it reminds me of some ugly country songs

Idkw but I was thinking that it could be for a music video... since the album, so far, has much piano they could had shot a video with Jack playing and Lana singing some track like Lorde did with the acoustic versions of Melodrama.
