Still trying to understand what the fuck happened to her 1. I think Grimes has always been privileged enough to play around with yet not be serious about her views and politics 2. She is absolutely a victim of Elon and her life has been a fucking horror show since 2020 trying to be with her children. 3. I think currently she's doing her best to just *be okay* and for her children to be okay and for that to happen she has to be somewhat involved in what Elon does and can't just straight-up oppose him like she would have done 10 years ago, and that's soooo shit i know. I think it means we've lost her for good.

The fact that now the war is "over" but im more scared than ever for all the innocent surviving Palestinians now that Trump is threatening to literally wipe them all out if Hamas doesn't release remaining hostages. Motivating for me to listen to her more! Its funny because alt/rock is more my true taste in music, and I know K.Flay does it good, but something about her groovy earlier songs feels right to me (for her)!

I found her in 2014, listened to Make Me Fade and Can't Sleep on repeat. Theyre such good songs they still sound new tbh. I like some of her newer songs but nothing has stuck like those 2.

I initially refrained from talking about why I loved her because anyone's passing at that age is so terrible, and that should be enough to be heartbroken, but also why not say something to celebrate her impact. I think she was a style icon. I've literally only seen her in gossip girl and euro trip but she was one of the actors i instantly loved, even if the characters she played weren't a favourite. I actually thought about her a lot in recent years because I watch a lot of style analysis videos and she was constantly brought up in them as someone who isn't wearing her natural colours but manages to pull them off amazingly. Even if i apparently knew nothing about her or much of her work, the one thing I knew she was someone who was always herself and i will continue to look up to that.

Well, the whole honeymoon album when I first played it. It was 2am, I played the tracks I hadn't heard yet (basically the second half of the album) and was like ".... was that it?" Nothing stuck in my head, no track stood out to me besides the singles. It became my favourite album of all time
