Wow what an amazing channel, giving us what we deserve. I so agree, it should have been darker. With crybaby i get a great mixture of dark and light imagery, but with k12 its all pastel and light (even without the film aesthetics) and for me, that just isnt fulfilling

Didn't she used to suffer from really bad anxieties which she couldn't explain and therapy couldn't help? But that doesn't = anxiety disorder so nah. I think she has been DepressIVE but who knows if it was diagnosed or what My sister thought Lana has bipolar cause she's always singing about being crazy which she could relate to but I assured her it's a different kind of crazy. She's explained it before as "people make me crazy" and that's just a personality weakness (which she seems to have improved greatly), not a mental disorder.

Finally read through it all and i love it. Best interview she's had since her BTD era. The interviewer really got down with the good questions. Im surprised Lana actually answered them all- though she did brush over some, what we got is still heaps. I think it's really true, and sometimes annoying (but more funny) that she does contradict herself so much, but oh well. She studied philosophy what do we expect. she just likes thinking

I think the CB outtakes had a better sound than K-12 (and lyrics) but it obviously wouldn't have worked in the theme as she discarded of them long before. But it's tragic how mel has kept much of her best work unreleased!

Yes! Particularly to bolded text. I spotted that this would be an issue when the snippets were coming out it on her insta, and sadly it wasn't just the phone recording audio Maybe it's the microphone she sang into idk, I don't know much about the technical side but I'd love to hear what someone educated in sound tech would have to say about this album.

I can agree but now it has me confused cause we were all so annoyed by LFL's production being too varied and all over the place, and now that we have a coherent album in production we are like "noo it's not enough!" Maybe Lana has lost that perfect balance. Idk what it is but if I had to pinpoint it I'd say it's the effort she puts into her vocals that really ties her albums together. That's what makes LFL and NFR seem incomplete to me. That's what I like about the album name tho. It's doesn't need to be deep. It feels light and airy, like she was just like "oh yeah, I guess that's how I feel!" with nothing more to it. But I do wonder, there has to be a title track called White Hot Forever right? I wonder what that's all about

Yeah D: I know this is an unpopular opinion but the leaked songs like Schizo, Unhappy Meal and 99 Cent Store are amazing songs and would have kept everyone satisfied as a continuation of crybaby, even tho I think all are outtakes?
