TNC is in the lower half of her best songs but that's because the whole thing was awkward thanks to Lana messing up a perfectly fine demo. Sean is capable of much much more. NFR (title track) has definitely grown on me. There isn't really a song I dislike on the album. Though this may be an unpopular opinion- Happiness is a Butterfly is the weakest song on the album.

Her new album is definitely my favourite from her I don't think there are any skippable songs, when usually, her music can be so much of a deep ambient mood that I can't tell them apart from the others. This one feels more digestible imo, and I love it. My favourites are Deranged for Rock and Roll, Be All Things and When Anger Turns to Honey, but all the others are not far behind.

Graveyard was not what I was expecting. On first listen I was like ugh no. But I had the vibe stuck in my head and I have to say it's noe one of my fave new releases. I'm excited for her new album, especially how she described it as her realising she's not angry anymore, but wow she's still going on about how it's not pop? ASHLEY, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IT WILL BE POP NOW, DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?! JUST EMBRACE IT. But I'm a bit iffy about the name of the album. I know as she has bipolar she has every right to use Manic as the title, but I can already see people are gonna exploit that word because of it and use it to make themselves seem edgy and deep when they have no idea what manic is really like.

Halfway through A Discovery of Witches. My partners mum convinced me to read it. I remember when the trailers for the TV show came out I thought it looked pretty good but I was put off by yet again another forbidden romantic union but the witchcraft part remained a big interest to me. The book is really good and easy to read and it hooks you in so fast. I think this is by far the most interesting depiction of Witches, Vampires and Demons that I've ever come across. Especially demons. I'll be so keen to watch the TV show after I finish.

I think it makes him a better character to not use sex or be interested in it at all. Like when it looked as if he had those intentions as he asked Venable to take her dress off, but it was just to humiliate her for her spine deformity. And how he payed no attention to when Maddison asked if she had to give him a blow job to get out of Hell. That made him more powerful.

Brooklyn baby was the only song on UV that I didn't like on release. But by 2015 I loved it. One of my favourites to sing around the house. And I didn't like Body Electric until Tropico came out. The video made me realize how how legendary it was.

Lana's bridge reminds me of Britney Spears - Piece of Me haha. I love it.

It's not a bad song. I'm sure Ariana fans absolutely adore it, especially if they like Miley and Lana too, but as someone who can't say I am a fan, I think the song is too much Ari, and I'm left only remembering her choruses. Miley's part was amazing and she nailed it, but it's still overshadowed by Ariana. And Lana's part was great too but I think her voice could have been louder. It's like they purposely made her be the whispery echo in the song but if that bridge was an entire song on its own it would be one of her best pop songs. In the video, the three honestly didn't look like they "go together" either. Lana unfortunately does look out of place, but then again so does Miley, and it's like the whole thing was based around Arianas aesthetic. Like, fair enough, she's currently the biggest out of them all but ugh. It doesn't even seem like a good promo for the movie tbh. The whole thing seems super out of place. But at least we got it and I'm glad that Lana was part of it instead of someone else god awfully annoying.

That reminds me of this Lucky Ones lyric video, that idk is still up or not, that got 30% of the lyrics wrong, and in one place says "you're a careless cunt and you're a crazy liar"

White Hot Forever reminds me of heat that doesn't come from fire or the sun, but radiating air around you, like you're attracting the heat from another dimension and it evaporates off your soul and creates a scene of dancing white smoke that feels suffocating and free at the same time. But knowing Lana it probably just means summer yet again.
