I hate that song so much I really hope the album doesn’t sound like that at all

I’m still in shock about the hate the boards had for Sweet when the album came out i still think it’s one of her most important and beautiful love songs. the lyrics and vocal performance are so thought out and impactful. still my fav (with let the light in) from this album.

I think she really should stop with the dancers and the back up singers. her energy is just so infectious when she’s there singing alone (both times I’ve seen her it was her alone, maybe the second time she was with the two og dancers) but she really doesn’t need it. plus a more exciting set list makes everything better. to be in a hug crowd of fans and stand singing her hits and songs that have connected multiple generations is amazing

Why are we bashing this cover? With Ocean having an iconic cover that was professionally shot and now this being joke made like she’s allowed to switch it up, I think it’s fun to imagine her with Chuck just playing around with the camera and a shitty online tool to make a cover that represents the atmosphere of the album. i think it’s deep and not that deep? You know? Juvenile, but with thought behind it? and if it’s just a placeholder, we shall see.
