Yeah but sending hate to Azealia is different to sending hate to Lana because Lana's social networking presence is almost 0. Azealia tweets out all that stuff herself so it's expected that she gets some hate back. Lana literally tweets like once/twice a month and she does nothing to offend people. I don't get people who pick on Lana tbh.
 
I can't stand people who tweet hate for attention in general anyway. That DM is really hilarious though because I can just imagine Lana being all like "fuck this, I am 100% done." At least she doesn't start twitter arguments over social media like Azealia does. She has the integrity to block and move on.

I really do hope this is fake, because it bugs the crap out of me when stars respond to hateful loser trolls as opposed to the genuine fans tweeting them adoration >.>

This entire thread exemplifies once more to me how natural leaks have gotten in our daily musical practice/listening situation. I just don't understand why people get so upset about all this. It's not like any of us is entitled to hearing the song, regardless of that guy teasing or not.

Off to the (fucking) Races is one of her best song. The lyrics, the melody, the voice and that beat! It could have done wonders. But idk, she seems to not really liking it. I know she doesn't like the way TIWMUG ended up. Maybe OTTR, TIWMUG and Diet Mtn Dew don't reflect the music phase she's in right now, too bad girl, too hip hopish maybe.

^ Yeah, but as TPD alluded to, Lana wrote "2 tears in solidarity" when she posted it on Facebook. TPD's theory that it's in solidarity with an incarcerated lover fits with a lot of our Lanalysis and is much more plausible than the notion that she killed someone.

I’m not going to lie, this pisses me off so much, mostly because people who call her anti-feminist don’t have a clue what feminism actually stands for (thank you, tumblr feminazis, for turning the topic into a joke). Most people now think that if a woman doesn’t act manly and doesn’t call tiniest of shots in a relationship, she’s automaticaly anti-feminist, even if that’s what makes her happy and that’s how she wants it. It’s not like Lana goes about the world and tries to promote female submission as the one and only dynamic a relationship could possibly have. God. I’m just gonna kill it here, before I turn it into a long and boring rant.

This is good to hear, since many people had the feeling she was running out of ideas. Guess we’ll see how she lives up to this claim when her new album comes out, but from the little info we have on it, it sounds fantastic. I hope I won’t overhype it in my mind, though.

well, we know she's turning 28 this year. Seeing as she lists her birthday year as 1985 (which would make her 27 now) on her personal facebook. That most articles from 2010 and before list an age that again, would make her 27 now and that in the copyright office, Rock Me Stable is listed as written by an Elizabeth W. Grant born in 1985 ...it's safe to say she was not born in 1986 and will be turning 28 this June.
