Lots of pissed off people today especially many Guillermo Del Toro fans on Facebook. Seems like there was a lot of obnoxious Lana fans that attended this thing and kept screaming for Lana even when this poor man was speaking and giving his thank yous. These obnoxious fans were also raising up their Lana album covers and magazines as if this event was a concert. They kept screaming "where's Lana!" and she got a bigger applause going on that stage then the man who was being honored. To make it worst, Lana then going to these obnoxious fans to sign and take selfies with them just adds more salt in the wound.  
 
I know that Lana isn't mean spirited and she doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but this is still a faux pa.  
 
 

 
 

 

Looking for America is actually very beautiful. The guitar sound reminds me of Leonard Cohen Hallelujah. 
 
However (unpopular opinion) I don't like her cover of Season of The Witch. I thought it was going to be different then what it turned out. 

I'm still pretty 'eh' about SOTW, but I can definitely hear the Lizzy/Kill Kill quality to it that people were mentioning.
 
LFA is beautiful. The second half hits more with me.

guys im a collector and i collect her dresses (my ig acc is @lanadelreycollector anyway i mentioned that to tell u can u believe the first dress she wore with vintage looking is for $20 and the love for lemons dresses are above $200 lmao it's not about the price its about the taste, i really miss her old style but yeah 

At least there are no duets this time around. That alone makes this album better. 

That is why she had a stylist earlier on. Once she got rid of that stylist, her onstage clothes have basically been an atrocity. Those For Love and Lemon dresses weren't all that great either, some of them even being too small on her.

OMG. Some Lana fans are out of control. Poor woman.

It's an huge privilege that I don't take for granted because I'm sure people don't have the means to buy a ticket or travel far because she doesn't go to every location. If I'm spending my hard earned money on any artist, I appreciate the opportunity but I also want my money's worth. The first two shows I saw her, it was a surreal and amazing experience. However, after the LATTMT, although I also had an amazing time, there were moments I found myself disappointed because being in a bigger venue, I discovered Lana was still performing as if she were in a small venue. Focusing too much on the people at the barricade, leaving the rest of us to just wait for minutes while she took pictures and take photographs with fans. Happy for them, but then it disrupts the show. Also hearing the same BTD songs dampens the experience, especially when you've also watched countless performances of the same songs before you've seen her live. And she has her audience sing the lyrics for her now, or doesn't sing parts at all which is another thing people are noticing is happening more. Cool that people go to every show and have the money for it, but if every tour has the same setlist, you've heard it all.
