I really get a vibe that Lana isn't as proud of this record as the past ones. I don't know why but it isn't autobiographical and she just doesn't seem as close to it.

people paying to see you performing and going to do errands or everyday things are two totally different things. what sense does it make to pay to see someone and then have them look like they just rolled out of bed?? it's actually kind of disrespectful and makes them seem like they don't even care 

because it seems lazy, unprofessional, and careless. honestly i think it's because she's completely dissociated herself from anyone that's not stella, abel, rappers, or chuck

tbh she needs to stop dressing so casual at these events or else it's going to damage her reputation. it was cute at first but now it's cringey. 

I have to agree with a lot of you on how Lana has been dressing for her shows lately.  I think looking back at some of her older performances or tours don't help either, perhaps our expectations are too high, or perhaps it actually is upsetting when you have people paying to see you, going out of there way to drive miles or even take a plane, willing to stay out in terrible weather for hours on end, and only to come out like you had to run and go get milk from the grocery store at the last second.
Anyways, that's just my food for thought. If this didn't seem like it was becoming a habit, I wouldn't care nearly as much. She's had casual looks before, like the Itunes Festival one and various others, but they didn't overpower her more get-up looks like they're doing this era.

This hideous outfit era is just a phase. I can't wait for it to die out and for her to start dressing pretty again and not like a hood rat

BUT when I said the Magic Spark is lost I don't equate it to sadness.
I meant the lyrical storytelling of emotional feelings throughout her relationships. The vivid storytelling of Paradise & UV.
I know she is changing and that is okay... but I guess artists like Father John Misty and Bon Iver are staying in their same realm of topics of life and sadness or what not but making very subtle changes.
We won't know where lana is going next until it's already happened. And I will support her forever because she enchanted me with each album & comforted me.
I just feel this record is not as intimate and she's even said that it'll be easier to sing because it isn't as painful.
