I’m so glad I still haven’t listened to the single with every new album cycle i’ve gained more self-control, from listening to the incredibly low quality honeymoon leak, to listening to the snippets for lust for life and nfr but not to low quality leaks, to refraining from listening to anything but the singles for blue banisters, to refraining from listening to the singles. i’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time now and it’s probably easier this era than it usually is, as the pre-release is short and there are no recycled songs, almost no snippets, probably just one or two singles and most importantly no delay

okay but 80 minutes for the album, assuming each interlude is 2 minutes long, leaves 76 minutes for 14 songs, so 5,42 minutes per song…

where did the information that the album was 80 minutes long on lanapedia come from? i doubt it’s true

also on lanapedia i think Crazy for You should be removed from “Unleaked songs” as we got a demo which is already quite elaborate, we don’t have the final for Hollywood’s Dead either but it’s not under “Unleaked songs”, rather until “Unleaked versions”, and i think it should be the same for Crazy for You

which one is your number one? i'd say talking like an answering machine if it is real, because it's so intriguing and most of her registered songs are better than the unregistered ones, otherwise earthquakes

i would add talking like an answering machine as it seems to be real, and coconut and key lime pie although we're probably never getting it, but you got it covered quite well

it's a bit unpuzzling to see so many things get debunked... i can't remember who told us dark city was from the uv sessions, but that's erroneous too, it's hard to know what's true anymore. but at the end of the day, what matters is not the information, it is the music we got and get to hear, and we did get three excellent leaks 10 days ago, and warren's mixes are still really good and i'm actually satisfied with them. rough though they are, they are also subtle and graceful, and i love elements like the bagpipes or the synths even though they might not have been there on the actual mix

earthquakes knowing it is the only uv outtake we have no version of now that we know dark city is from the honeymoon sessions

@BlackoutZone can you tell us if the "longed for a time" snippet that leaked in September is from the upcoming album? i think it was said to be from 2021, and so were fingertips and ocean boulevard

this isn’t related to honeymouns butno one knows who leaked the snippets for ocean boulevard tracks so of course they don’t get that much criticism, who would there be to criticize? if some people we knew did that they’d get dragged because we know that hurts lana

i was not ready for the existence of piano theme and morricone to get debunked i wonder if there are actual songs she made with that producer, and why piano theme and morricone were even registered to begin with… i hope he’s going to confirm or debunk the existence of talking like an answering machine

this is not directed at you specially but i think we should keep in mind how incredibly privileged these people are. No matter what category they fall under, they’ll still have better material conditions, more opportunities and more privilege than 99% of white cisgender men on this planet, because of their wealth. it can hardly be said that Beyoncé, one of the most influential women in the world, is ever really written off. and the same goes for Taylor and, to a lesser extent, Lana: I can’t help thinking it’s a bit tone-deaf to spend 6 years complaining about some Kanye West drama (or, in Lana’s case and to a lesser extent, about being criticized by the media, which is not even the big picture anymore) and making billions out of it when you could use your platform to convey some sort of message. I’m not saying these problems aren’t worth addressing in their music at all, I’m saying it sounds slightly insensitive to me how much they talk about them while never ever addressing other problems or how unbelievably privileged they are. The problems they face are real, be it misogyny, racism, ageism, and they can exemplify things regular people are also confronted with - but we shouldn’t be tricked into forgetting that their economic position really lessens the impact these problems have on their lives, while these people actually fuel the problems regular people face, by flying a privet jet 24/7, or having a brand with clothes made by exploited workers in Asia, for instance.

well, maybe you should go a few pages back and read the post where i explained what felt, if not wrong, not totally right with that line in my opinion. mention of sex without violence, like in fuck it i love you, and mention of sex with violence, which had not happened since ultraviolence, are not the same thing at all.
