She is glowing! Love her hair, makeup, and outfit! Beautiful as always <3 
 
I remember her mentioning wanting to remove her tattoos during the LA to the Moon Tour, saying  “I hate my tattoos that I have” to a fan after a show one night in January 2018 lol. Regardless of whether or not they’re removed, they remain iconic 

The day is Wednesday in the cold Midwest winter. The sun has set and there is a chill in the air. My boyfriend is driving the two of us downtown, to escape from the reality of it all. He's got one hand on the wheel and the other pressed gently on my jeans. The typical spot for it.
 
Onto the highway I watch as the brite lites of the city glimmer in the distance. Heat Waves by Glass Animals blares on the radio as I sing to myself.
 
"Sometimes all I think about is youuuu... late nights in the middle of Juuuune..."
 
I smile to myself as I remember Lana's instagram post singing the same song in her car. I've loved her since the 7th grade. She's been with me through it all. The good, the bad and of course... the ugly.
 
And that is the moment it happens.
Looking out the passenger window, I see it. All I can do is SCREAM out as my boyfriend looks over in concern.
 
"What is it?!”
 
"Look!! LOOK!!!" I say, pointing out the window.
 
There it is. In all its beauty. Deep in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. The most beautiful billboard I've ever seen. I can't contain my excitement as he pulls to the side of the road for me to take a picture of it. My whole night is made. It is beautiful. I feel as if the Glass Animals song made it appear out of nowhere as I thought of Lana. But no. It couldn't be.
 
We both continue the drive downtown, the tall buildings ahead of us. I've fallen even more in love with the city. And it seems as if the lights are sparkling... sparkling just for me.
 

 
 

I don’t think her bodily expression even warrants an opinion, frankly, and this isn’t even a discussion that should be happening, as it veers into policing women’s — and people’s in general — bodies. Let’s strive for neutrality towards how people present themselves because we are so much more than our exteriors. <3

The way she says “you used to say that I was beautiful like Cleopatra, but you the king, too, so I would say, back atcha” always got me. It’s so sweet 
I always thought the same! So many of Lana’s unreleased songs from 2010 remind me of 90s/2000s teen romcoms. Like, I immediately think of Cher Horowitz when I hear songs like this one, Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight, Backfire, Playground, etc. 

Puppy Love/Marilyn Monroe and Take Me To Paris are such sister songs to me because of this. BBM Baby and Driving in Cars With Boys have that vibe too and I love it

This song sounds straight out of a 2000s teen romcom, and I mean that as a compliment. The production is stellar and the lyrics are so cleverly written

I love how any drug reference from Lana Del Rey in 2022 feels self-referential 

The photo with the mirror, spoons, and key are all antique silver that appear a bit dull. With Rick Nowels allegedly working on the next album, thinking about what that means…
