    you make some valid points tbf, but as Sadness is a Butterfly said, we only have snippets to go off of. even if the complete song was only 2:00 long, 30-40 seconds is not enough to make a final judgement on the song as a whole.
    i think we mentioned before that Mel has full creative control (you may have been offline for that tho)

    i think after the leaks she decided to rework some of the songs into new songs completely hence why this is  happening im not too mad because if she released all the leaked songs as they were would be kinda lame its better to be half leaked songs and half new songs

    dust bowl is also getting re-recorded
    nettles has been scrapped but it could potentially be used for PW (the latter is just me speculating)
    it’s 6 songs but the total length is 50 minutes

    tbh i just hope she only kept the standout songs from the leaked bunch but majority of the album should be all new material otherwise i dont see this doing well

    ryn said she might announce the album tonight and also leak a unfinished song called Bloodlet via twitter ... the snippet for bloodlet was posted for a while by a fan she sent the demo too but he deleted it just now
