Eh, I view it as laziness. UV has some of Lana's work choruses ever. Sad Girl is downright embarrassing (makes me a sad sad girl x2 and followed by 5 or 6 slurring of "Ima sad girl, bad girl" or whatever. Guns and roses has lovely verses but laZy ass chorus. Either way, it's a matter of opinion. Some find repetetive songs catchy!

I still love the Haynie production on DMD, I just wish some choruses were cut and the pre-chorus included IMO, repetitive choruses are okay at times, but when half the album is the same phrase repeatedly slurred, it becomes old fast. especially when the verses and the bridges of the song are equally dreadful.

Idek Grimes or even any song by her, but an artist isn't always defined by their political alignment or views on issues. Not everybody can be a sociology 101 textbook and tumblr-safe 24/7. I wish every celeb that I like was far left as me, but rich str8 white people can live in a strange bubble I was truly disappointed in Lana when her dumbass feminism comments came out, don't get me wrong. It's problematic when people with such media attention perpetuate the general "ugh feminism isn't good.....the word is scary" idea, but politics (even Lana's, even Grimes', even Britney when she votes Republican) are a personal matter for all of us and they don't need to be justified to mass media.
