You're Summer Bummer remix is so ridiculous it makes me wish i would've come up with it. "I was like i cant even keep listening lol. Im so done." So well done. You always do such great Lana remixs and never disappoint.

This is coming from someone who hasn't really cared about Lana's absence due to my own life being busy. Honestly, Lana is changing. I may just be pulling this out of my ass, but most of the songs she's been teasing/released could really belong in an adult contemporary album (I've always thought Love was the first one to really have this sound), and I think it's because she's getting older. I also think she's trying to distance herself away from the tumblr reputation she's had all these years because other people didn't take her serious because of it. NFR (title song) really reminds me of Fiona Apple's songs, such as Why Try to Change Me Now. The moment the strings start to build up is absolutely breathtaking by the way. 

Well I’m a few hours behind on this but it’s good she finally posted another snippet...however it’s still a piano ballad. Can’t wait to see where the surf rock influences come into play

Whats up to all the good folks out there of Lana boards. Just wanted to use this story as my introduction to the message board
 
 
Been a fan of Lana's music for about year now. & What really got me into her was when i heard Off To The Races. Everything about that record just pulled me in. From her 50-60s adventurous vocal performance, to lyricism, content & just the overall production. She just really gave me an experience. Pretty soon after i started searching the net (youtube, google, & music sites) for anything related to her, and from that point on i couldn't get enough. & It was during this time where i began experimenting with a lot of the stuff i heard from her, being that im producer. Remixing some of the songs that caught my attention. Soon after a couple of the songs that i had worked on and released was noticed & realized by one of the writers, Mike Daly featured on Born To Die. & He showed his appreciation letting me know how much he loved it, and i was extremely humbled and honored. Shortly after, Lana followed me, & i just began to love her even more lol.

The original Doin Time was produced by David Kahne one of her earlier collaborators. Who was also the primary producer on her projects Kill Kill and Lana Del Ray. Talk about full circle
