all I want right now is some solid news: either from her or BoZ or Eclipse. Something reliable. Not some pseudo news from someone we can’t trust for sure or some Twitter account : they sure were entertaining for a while (even though they are most often BS), but I must be having triggers with my trust issues these days, I don’t know. Im not that much in a hurry for the album but maybe just some indication of what to expect for sure.

I’d be surprised if he was involved on her album. Even though he could bring something new to the table, I wonder how she feels about working with her BF when it pretty much never worked out in the end: Barrie, GEazy, Clay… True, some of their work got released on albums at some point, but I don’t know, maybe she wants her albums to always be « her own »?!

I’m very intrigued by this album and can’t wait to hear something that will reveal its direction. I’m getting a lot of pre-release LFL era : she collabed with a lot a people apparently (if lustforlife was right), there are country songs, covers recorded, similar to the year before LFL was released (the TLSP songs, the many ones that didn’t end up on the album…). I’m not saying they will all coexist on LDR9 or even LDR10, but she has options for the future (I just hope she doesn’t shelve the good songs for too long though).

That account has been posting a lot about her lately… (okay, most of the posts were from the d*** « post », but still, maybe something could be coming next month) if that post doesn’t turn out right, I won’t hold it against them: nobody is good at describing her albums ever

At this point, who knows what comes from where originally I remember that description (or some variant of it) being about the album or a couple of songs… But it’s been on so many platforms already…

I have many thoughts about her doing country, and yeah, they are contradictory haha: 1- country can have a lot of other genres attached to it, and I don’t expect yeehaw that much; 2- we know something country is around the corner at some point. Better to get used to that idea I guess 🤷🏼; 3- i don’t think LDR9 will be that country project and I hope not: after folksy Chem and introspective BB, we need something bigger; 4- Prettiest Girl in Country and Hey Blue Baby were both different from her repertoire. Maybe this country project could be a fun side of her we didn’t see that often in the past; 5- like I said before, I’ll wait until she decides to launch the era to make up my mind about anything.

Just like her music, all of her posts have lots of room for interpretation. I don’t even think it could mean she release country music next, probably more on a side project or for LDR10.

I really like Beyoncé but rarely listen to her albums from cover to cover more than a couple of times. But Renaissance is the exception: it’s the escapism many of us wanted this summer.

Yeah, I saw that too. To be fair, his last tweet was that the album was almost done but she wasn’t sure if she was maybe too much in a hurry to put it out. Anyways, nothing is ever set in stone, these days, with music releases. And with two albums last year, I guess we can wait a little…

I really love Violet, much more than I thought I would, but I must say that I’m a bit « bothered » that she teased Patent Leather Do-Over so soon It is sooooo gooooddddd! And the instrumentals on it are some of her best. I hope we get to read and hear the rest of this book in 2023.
