  1. I’m choosing to tell myself she will finish it in the next couple of weeks / months with Jack. If it happens sooner, if it’s already done and she starts the era, I’ll be more than happy, but I won’t put myself through the motions of anxiously despairing for some tidbit of info. The only pieces of « info » nowadays come from anonymous posts on D**** or the leakingmusic account on Twitter (which is never the best source for Lana).
  2. Totally agree with the FJM collab, especially since Buddy’s Rendezvous. I don’t think the collab with Lana would be with the Neighborhood, but for Jesse’s solo album. He is a bit more « eclectic » when in solo, so maybe their collab will find a home soon. as for Barrie, we would all be thrilled beyond words if they did something together for a new project. Don’t know how well they do get along, if they’d want to work again. Maybe they could just twitch UFB a bit…
  3. Yeah I noticed that too I’ve been dying for this unreleased project ever since Jesse started teasing it in his stories many moons ago. We know Jesse is recording for his solo album (he even posted a lot of snippets on his IG reels at the beginning of the year, only to delete them all and disappearing; maybe he is preparing for a release in the next months after all).
  4. Renaissance is very very good. Full disclosure: I like Beyoncé very much but almost never listen to a full album from her after release (although I know she commands everything she does). on Renaissance, the production is flawless, the transitions are superb. It’s an excellent dance album. Six songs are out of this world right now (top of my head: Alien Superstar, Summer Renaissance, Cozy, Church Girl, America has a Problem)and the rest, I’ll give it time to sink in.
  5. Glad to see who won. She slayed this season, though all of them were excellent. This is the best season of RPDR in my opinion. I’m gonna miss their runway looks .
  6. I’ll post it because, well, we have no idea when she is going to release LDR9 and I repeated myself too much already that she should release the lead ASAP with this numbers lol
  7. Well if it’s true, maybe she has some regrets about BB: I mean, that album changed direction so much, maybe she feels like she should have waited a bit to reflect on it 🤷🏼 One thing seems for sure: she wants the album to be cohesive.
  8. If it’s true, I don’t know what to make of this.
  9. Became a fan when Tropico was released (before that, I thought she might have been a singer that couldn’t perform live because of SNL 🤦). Prior to that, I really loved Blue Jeans, but was into a lot of new artists, so I never really took the time to listen to BTD on its entirety. The visuals of Tropico blew me away, I loved her universe and listened to everything she put out that day. With UV through NFR, each album was telling what I was living at the moment. I connected so much to all of them and loved them. LFL and NFR’s rollouts might not have been that healthy for me though: I was anxiously waiting and scrolling everywhere I could for some infos about those. It’s at the end of NFR that I « took a step back », in a way, and not wait for her albums for my own happiness. COCC and BB are very very good, but they do not resonate as much with me. There are incredible songs on each, some I love, some that are part of my story almost. BB is the one of the two that connects with me the most, especially this summer, but both these albums didn’t necessarily transcended me upon release.
  10. Haha! If the description is right, those genres are some of my faves… i think Lana has always had jazz in mind for her career anyways…
  11. here they go again… Needless to say that they omitted any update on the « she is coming this month ».
  12. I’ve reread it a couple of times… and I must say it could sound true. There are a lot of specifics in the descriptions and the number of tracks that are mastered… Either that guy knows something or he has a very vivid (and realistic) imagination.
  13. Thanks! Ouf, it sounds too good to be true. If only half of this is true, this would be an incredible album. I gotta give them credit for the number of songs recorded in each session. But the part about Yes to Heaven makes it unbelievable. Isn’t it a new tradition now, when someone heard what she’s done so far and spills the tea, it’s always « top 3 album » material for sure?
  14. Can you post what was said? It surely is fake, but hey, there’s nothing to talk about.
  15. Looking back at it, QFTC (and pretty much all of her other « problematic outburst ») were all somewhat « minor »: She wasn’t involved in any crime, or sexual misconduct or even plain racism / homophobia / transphobia. Those are the topics that get someone cancelled for real. (Anyways, cancel culture is really stupid when applied to artists: Artists are not « your average Joe », they’re creative, ca be spontaneous, and are inevitably bound to say something that will get offend someone). Anyways, I wonder if the angry part of the album will have some hints at QFTC… maybe the opener?
  16. Yeah, I know, but I’ve put it here because she should get that momentum to have a new release (lead from ldr9 or something else).
  17. At the moment, the only thing I’d want to know (whether from insiders or her team) is if the album is done or not. This would be the best info to help us as of when to expect things. ( I know it’s Lana we’re talking about and she could think she was done with the album three times before it’s the actual end, but still…)
  18. And it’s apparently secured for 3 M for today
  19. I do hear a lot of « her story » elements to many songs on BB, even if she didn’t explain them explicitly: - TextBook: I was looking for the father I wanted back; - BB: there’s a hole that’s in my heart; - Arcadia and BBS respond to her numerous critics throughout her career and recently; - Beautiful is probably about a guy but also about critics that said she romanticized depression and sadness; - all the songs from wFWF through SC are about motherhood: How her mother raged at her and left many scars in her, how she wants to be a mother herself, how she found a new spiritual one (LL) and how she embraces her sister’s motherhood. - the other songs are mostly love stories, and although not that revealing, they do give us some insight on how she loves. anyways, for LDR9, the lyrics could be still personal, but maybe just a tad more production / beats / guitars, please.
