I wouldn’t discredit that account completely for some singers… just not Lana. That account seems to have a lot of sources for their « info » (some legit and others, well, that don’t come through or are very sketchy). When it comes to their « Lana news », I take it as a rumour and nothing more: could be true, often isn’t. It’s not the first « source » to say she is focusing on poetry since the beginning of the year… I wouldn’t hate it, if we got the audiobook before LDR9 (highly doubt it though).

Could be about her. They also posted a 🎸 emoji and « yeah she’s going on tour », but didn’t say if it was about Lana for sure (they change their avatar so often, it’s hard to keep up which singer they are talking about). Anyways, they said she would talk about the new album maybe in August but probably in September, we’ll see if it checks out.

It feels like this album has been out for way more than three years (probably because of the neverending pandemic and, well, two full new albums released since and an audiobook).

Happy bday to my fave! love you with all of my heart. I didn’t know at first that you would be so « prophetic » with the pandemic that was about to hit, how your songs would resonate on a deep, deep level and accompany me throughout. The Greatest, Venice Bitch (favourite song by far), Mariners Apartment Complex, Hope, Fuck It I Love You: they are all career highlights.

Im really curious for the vibe of this album. Could show a lot of vulnerability. I’ve really warmed up to Taylor since folklore. And her version of Red is just 🤯

You all deserve a medal in patience or a trophy for still being excited for this album and waiting for it. I thought NFR was excruciating but this is way worse. Hang in there, sweeties! You’re all heroes

I honestly don’t blame Eclipse or BoZ to not have spilled so far : she is so unpredictable that before a lead is somewhat in sight, everything could change… And let’s be honest, we’d be freaking disappointed and all over their asses if they spilled about plans that changed : « She is mid way though the album; single coming in June » * nothing happens in June* Us: « Liars, all of you!!! We hate you! Cancel! » besides, I don’t want to know about songs that might have been scrapped…

Preach! anyways, I don’t even think LDR9 is finished at this point. Beginning of 2023 is more and more a possibility. November maybe if she is allowed to release digitally first.

Wondering if a Lana collab is on there… Nonetheless, Taylor is impressive and prolific. and yeah, October is a busy month…

With an album full of them coming some time in the future, I’m not sure there’ll be one on LDR9. But Wicked Game would be awesome to hear at some point. Back in the UV days, Plain Gold Ring by Nina Simone would have been perfect (I don’t see her sing about lusting over a married man anymore these days). I really love Your Sweet Love by Lee Hazelwood and the lyrics would still be appropriate for 2022 (which is not always the case when you cover a 1960 song…)

yep this seems about right. And we’re gonna repeat ourselves over and over again on each topic. No wonder we get to a 1000 pages when the album is finally out (or leaked )

Yeah, about that… Not to burst your bubble but… Lana mentioned this in an interview once… Jack stated at least three times that they wanted stripped back / genuine production and that she wanted to go smaller. Love her with all of my heart, but she said so many things that didn’t come through over the years that Jack is more reliable at this point. Plus WFWF is another example of her having her hands on the wheel all the time : it’s a beautiful song, but it didn’t need Mike Fucking Dean if she ended up having a song that her LFL team could have produced.

LFL had 16 and we all know how LB feels about it’s cohesiveness BB had 15, but maybe it would have been better at 14. NFR had 14 and though it’s not her most cohesive, it’s just diverse enough IMO. HM had 14 if you count the interlude. perfection in cohesiveness. COCC had 11. For that type of album, it was perfect (my main « problem » with it is that it’s still mostly an album about her art and I don’t connect with some sons because of it). UV’s standard edition had 11. Love most of the bonus tracks, but don’t see them as part of UV’s story. So, I’d wish for 12 or 13 songs. One that is over 6 min would be a dream. Cover if it fits (but there’s a whole album of them coming up, so…). Maybe a leaked song if it really fits the album, but I don’t think it will.
