I don’t consider myself a Swiftie at all, but I have warmed up to her a lot since folklore. Before that, I liked a couple of songs here and there, but I was mainly put off by how the media was describing her (« using » her breakups for marketing an album). But i gave her a chance and I really like her storytelling. I don’t like everything she releases (and I do feel that many of her albums are a bit « bloated », which, I’m sure, really pleases her fans), but when I do love songs on her albums, they’re really good. She has great texts, great Melodies, has great marketing skills and man is she prolific! My fave from her is the new All Too Well version. anyways, im curious about midnights and hope Lana is featured on one of the songs.

I’m really curious about Midnights, to see how « vulnerable » it really is (I do suffer from insomnia from time to time and this is how I feel when it happens, with anxieties never far). i really liked folklore, evermore, her version of Red also. I can’t wait to hear her version of 1989. It’s Lover I really don’t like (I find it very Meh 🫤).

I really love the visuals (although I do prefer the Neil Polaroid to the picture with the luminous heart - not that it’s not beautiful, but the other one is just stunning). I love that she took her time for this album: the feeling will be interesting, now that we are (hopefully) in the last stages of the pandemic and in what feels like a different world : I can’t wait to hear what Vision she will bring to these hard times we’ve lived in.

I understand all the frustrations towards monarchy and they are more than legitimate. But I do applause Elizabeth II’s 70 years of service in a period of time when our world has changed the most, a time when she inherited of an old and dying concept that had its legions of skeletons in the closet, having to « embrace » changes coming over the years while maintaining the traditions coming with monarchy.

So, both Rob and Chuck (alongside baby Phoenix) were on set… Do we move? Plus the kid is all dressed up… (seriously, if this is about Lana, I have no idea what to expect from this album)

Since LFL/NFR, i kinda prefer that we don’t know anything from her other than in an interview, when it comes how far she is into the process: not only does she change her mind often but she loves snippets

I had never thought of Lolita that way Truth be told, Im not the biggest Britney fan, so that’s why I wouldn’t want her to cover one of her songs. That being said, I do trust her for her song choices: if she feels she’ll do a good job covering it, she probably will.

Any Britney song like some suggest she should cover songs that aren’t 10 years old also.

I kinda hope that DNC is another « Love » situation, where it was decided very early on that it would be the lead. I almost can’t believe she’d scrap DNC if she considered doing merchandise with it (I know it’s Lana we’re talking about here and anything can happen lol)

Yeah, I get that. The W photoshoot and interview made us think the era was about to begin. It hasn’t been that long, but it’s nice to have some indications of what to expect. September and October have releases I’m excited about, so I’m not that much in a hurry for the new Lana album, plus September is always a good month to revisit NFR. But i can’t deny I’m curious to hear what the lead will sound like.
