A similar thing happened with Charli XCX's (don't hate me) unreleased songs. Loads have been recognised on shazam but they are extremely unlikely to be released!

I like the photo by itself but as an artwork I know it fits the current trend / it's how it's usually done but it's lazy, should have been reworked a bit and it could be a solid cover and even as iconic as LDR cover if they wanted to
