  1. Finally got around to watching it. Thank you to whoever streamed it on Twitch! Things I loved: 1. The audio. The mic was actually ON. I don’t understand why livestream events have constant trouble with audio. The band sounded great. Her vocals slayed and you can hear how much she’s improved over the years. Love that she now uses actual professional back up singers instead of relying on the recorded backing vocals like she used to. These women sound great! Byron is a king. I love his and Lana’s interactions with each other when they perform Candy Necklace. I still find myself crushing on Blake. The way he plays that guitar…... 2. The small backing visual changes: I LOVE the inclusion of the Lizzy Grant visuals. It’s fitting for this tour (and please keep them if there’s going to be an actual tour for Ocean Blvd) because it feels like a full circle moment. I didn’t like how random the clips were on the last two shows. The way they were arranged and edited this time felt more put together. Like during the Ride Monologue?! OH MY LORD. I’m usually neutral about that portion of her concert, but the chronological visuals made an impact on me. I got emotional this time. 3. The camerawork. Why did the lighting and set design look better at this show?! The closeup of her face during the Ride monologue = gorgeous. The way the show doesn’t look like it was recorded on a potato = I can actually see and appreciate what they’re doing on stage… at least Glastonbury got that right too. 4. The costume change was quick this time. The last time was ridiculous. It needs to be less than 3 minutes. It didn’t drag on for this show, so I hope it means they’ve improved their strategy for it. 5. The choreography. IDC WHAT U ALL SAY ABOUT THEM- I LOVE THE DANCERS. I used to be a hater when her two main dancers first appeared, but I got used to them and loved their inclusion over the years. I was surprised she brought on more dancers this time around, but I ended up impressed?!?! I’M SORRY, but the girlies were serving for me. Especially during Bartender. I love the song and the performance during it. I love how extra the dancers are during the BTD songs. I’ll give you one point though… I can agree with the rest of you that the running before UV is unnecessary and I still don’t like it after seeing it up close in high quality. Why is there an interlude before UV, anyway? Things I hated: 1. She was late. Again. 2. Young & Beautiful. I don’t get the song placement and the drapery they add to her dress for 10 seconds. I want Dealer to come after A&W so badly. 3. She wanted to cut Venice Bitch. I love the NFR songs too much. Imagine cutting off your recent iconic songs more often than songs that have been on your set list for YEARS. At least give us Taco Truck x VB as a closer. 4. They cut off her mic. It is her fault though. Lmao The crowd singing Video Games was cute. I’m glad some fans got to see her up close at the end. I gotta ask the UK fans, has Glastonbury done that to any artist before? It was so abrupt, but I get it I guess. Please, Lana get there on time. I’m used to her being late. She usually was 30 minutes late when I saw her and I didn’t mind it. Shit happens tbh. But I felt bad this time around for fans because these are festival shows. I don’t get why she was almost an hour late last time. I’m never going to a festival because I know how harsh the conditions can be when trying to get a good spot to see your favorite artist. But I get that for some people in other countries, it’s probably their only way to see her. At the very least, she should make the effort to get there early to start on time. Anyway, overall I can tell she’s been improving. This is my favorite performance so far. It reminded me how much I admire her work. Hopefully she won’t be late next time.
  2. The crowd sounds so dead
  3. The only person I feel sorry for is the 19 year old. His father failed him.
  4. I don’t think Guns & Roses is as bad as people say it is. I don’t think the black hair or the blonde with strange highlights suit Lana well. It made her look older. COTCC would’ve been appreciated more/recognized as being on the same level of greatness as NFR, but her QFTC post and every other cringe thing she did at that time ruined the era (at least it did for me). I don’t understand the Nikki Lane hate. I think Lana’s better at writing songs rather than poetry even though she loves doing it. I refuse to purchase that poetry book. Oh… and Your Girl should remain in her drafts folder.
  5. Omg, same. I would put it up there with NFR.
  6. The lyrics to Textbook and Coachella are so bad and cringey, I refuse to acknowledge them as officially released songs. I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can like these songs.
  7. 1.Norman Fucking Rockwell 2. Born To Die 3. Cruel World 4. Ride 5. Honeymoon 6. White Dress 7. The Grants 8. Kill Kill 9. For K (Part 1) 10. Love 11. Text Book
  8. What did Charlie post? is he being cringe still?
  9. Oops nvm *thought her page was still up but it was honeymouns account lmfao
  10. The link literally confirms what the person you quoted was talking about. This isn’t the own you think it is. lol
  11. *EDIT* I just realized it said pick one, but I can’t because it’s difficult to choose. It’s a crime we don’t have an official release of these songs: Roses Bloom For You Fine China Driving In Cars With Boys Every Man Gets His Wish French Restaurant You Can Be The Boss On Our Way and plz leak Pussy (Cola Demo) + the Brooklyn Baby Demo. ty.
  12. Rewatched it and I think it’s her best music video so far.
  13. Seeing how random the setlist is this year, here’s my dream setlist A&W (Short Version) + Dealer Flipside (+ Instrumental Interlude) Blue Jeans Pretty When You Cry Music To Watch Boys To White Mustang Angels Forever//Ride Mashup Candy Necklace (+ Instrumental Interlude) Norman Fucking Rockwell Arcadia//Say Yes To Heaven//Let Me Love You Like A Woman Medley The Grants Bartender Dark But Just A Game Diet Mountain Dew (New Live Version) Every Man Gets His Wish//Venice Bitch Mashup Wild At Heart Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard Living Legend//Let The Light In Mashup Dance Till We Die (+ Extended Outro)
  14. Just got around to listening to it and I love it! I’m not a hardcore fan of Taylor but I’ve been warming up to her music recently, and when the first version of their collaboration came out I didn’t mind how it ended up. I was just glad it happened at all, especially with the timing for me. But, omg, the second version! I’m glad they added different elements to the production instead of just lazily using the same as the first. Love Lana’s new verse. I’m gonna replay tf out of it during the winter. like snow on the beach
  15. This is the best summary of the video. It’s crazy people keep calling it a cute BTS video, when it IS the official one! I think this is my favorite video of hers in recent years.
  16. I was the same until the “Honeymoon” Version leaked. I prefer that one.
  17. 1. NFR - In my opinion, her best. If you’re introducing her work to someone, this is the album for it. Can’t pick a favorite song, but the title track is a masterpiece. 11/10 2. COTCC - I thought I’d have to take time to like this album, but nope! The album doesn’t drag at all, the songs are well written, the features are great! White Dress, Chemtrails over the Country Club, Wild at Heart, Dark But Just a Game, and Dance Till We Die are on constant replay. Honestly, it’s so close to taking the #1 spot.10.8/10 3. BTD + Paradise - Putting these two together because they’re equal to each other. BTD was my introduction to Lana. Even though it holds some cute nostalgia for me, the songs alone still go HARD. The v i s u a l s we were fed this era! The lyrics didn’t age as bad to me as it did for other people, and some of my lesser favorite tracks (like the newer interpretation of Yayo) have grown on me so much over the years. I have no songs I dislike from this era. There’s a reason why this album is still charting. 10.2/10 4. Honeymoon - Okay, so this album has grown on me SO much over the years. I see why people say it’s her most cohesive. Terrence Loves You, High by the Beach, God Knows I Tried, and The Blackest Day shouldn’t slap this hard, but they do. The production (minus the annoying trap beats on Freak) is beautiful. The demos for some of the songs off this album are great (maybe include them on a 10th anniversary edition?). And I have to say, I wish we got the production similar to Freak Like Me instead of the production we got in the end. That’s it. That’s the only flaw. The final version of Freak is keeping this album down at #4... plus the amount of time it took for me to love this album. 9.5/10 5. UV - Her darkest album so far. Love the production. Related to it so much during this period of my life. Used to be my #1 until NFR came along. Must be personal growth, luv. The lyrics are great, but it’s peak LDR persona. I’ve outgrown Sad Girl, Money Power Glory, and Fucked My Way Up to the Top. Still, it has a special place in my heart. Ultraviolence, Shades of Cool, West Coast, Brooklyn Baby, Old Money, and Florida Kilos are my most favorite. 9/10 6. LDR AKA LG - Such a cute underground debut. This album showcases how strong her songwriting was this early in her career. The only flaw for me is Put Me in a Movie. That song should’ve been kept in the drafts. Kill Kill, For K, Pt. 2, Jump, Pawn Shop Blues, and Yayo make up for it though. 8.5/10 7. Sirens - Once I got my hands on a good quality version of this album, I haven’t stopped playing it. It’s a cute project that also showcases her songwriting skills. Next to Me, My Momma, Bad Disease, Peace (All You Need), Pretty Baby, and Junky Pride are my favorites. Only flaw: Birds of a Feather. Another track that should’ve been kept in the drafts. 7.8/10 8. LFL - Bruh… this album… is complicated for me to rate. Look… it took forever to grow on me, but I blame it on how it was released. See, at first it felt like there was two separate albums in this project based on the first few playthroughs. Then I realized… Love, Lust for Life, and 13 Beaches are amazing songs, but all three sound like album openers from different projects. I love the early versions of Lust for Life as much as the final, but the Blade Runner version is my favorite. The “bitch” ad libs on Cherry are still cringe to me (sorry) so I listen to the “clean” version. White Mustang is cute (for an interlude). I still don’t know what Playboi Carti was doing on Summer Bummer, but it’s a cute song. Maybe it should’ve been a stand-alone single release? I love the Snakehips remix (sorry again). ASAP Rocky did better on Groupie Love than on SB. In My Feelings is cute… the lyrics are mid though. Coachella - Woodstock in my Mind is her worst released song. Period. Don’t even keep it in the drafts. Delete the file. Cut the cameras. Deadass. From God Bless America to Get Free, the album is brilliant. But again, maybe because it sounds more cohesive and I prefer the songwriting on the second half of the album. I won’t take away the hard work Lana put into this project during this era, but this could’ve easily been spilt into three different projects if you also include unreleased tracks that could’ve worked cohesively with parts of LFL (the people who’ve heard them are saying the unreleased songs from this era are great). Please, don’t come for me. 6.8/10 Now as for Blue Bannisters and DYKTTATUOB, I can’t rank them against the others since I’m still coming around to listening to a few songs. I liked the inclusion of unreleased songs on BB, even though they didn’t sound much different than the demos. I’ve been replaying the title track of BB a lot. Dealer is so hot. A&W is also hot, but in a maniacal way. Candy Necklace is emotionally devastating (just the way I like it). Let the Light In is a masterpiece. I’m still trying to figure out how to feel about Peppers. So yeah, that’s my album ranking list so far.
  18. I’ve thought about it but the Free Sky fans are so unhinged
  19. I'm amazed this thread is still alive and breathing. I've got time today. So... storytime: I'll never forget the Amoeba meet & greet where one of her fans made fun of me behind my back when we were outside in line, thinking I couldn't hear. I later saw them and their friend group cut everyone after we got inside, and they got to the front when she performed. Or her assistant cutting me off when I was overly excited telling Sky I almost didn't go since I read the Amoeba announcement tweet in my college class (I wanted to finish and say I could have just went straight home since my schedule ended early that day- but now I'm here!). Her assistant misinterpreted that, cut me off and said "What?! You skipped class?!" No bitch and I also was not talking to you lmao oh and she was super condescending too while she removed the booklet from my CD case to hand it to Sky Then the two girls behind me in line started chiming in, excited, saying they skipped school for this (they were probably still in high school; I don't blame them though, they were sweet). So Sky just chuckled awkwardly and signed my booklet, "Stay in school???" When I saw the YT video of the event after, I literally cackled when I saw clips of Sky taking pictures with fans when security was on our asses before we got our shit signed, telling us that we were not allowed to take pictures or have anything other than our booklets signed. I was not expecting so many people to be rude this day. Ugh. Fast forward to a few years ago and I make a video pointing out how Sky has been promising to release new music then gaslighting her own fans when she doesn't pull through, and Sky's MOM actually comments on it saying I got shit wrong. Yeah, sure. The posts I provided as evidence and my own memory was fake, I guess. I had to block her comments because she kept writing unhinged shit. I ended up deleting the video anyway because I was getting "Oh, yeah?! Well you're WRONG, the album is coming" comments after she finally released "Downhill Lullaby", and I can own up to when I'm wrong. Can't say the same about someone else though... Well, now look where we're at? Still blaming everyone but herself for her situation. I tried supporting this woman's music throughout the years, had a few weird/awful experiences, and some delulu fans are still defending her. I can't.
  20. I gotta say the more I listen to Happier Than Ever, the more I love it. I think it’s a slight step above WWAFA. I mean GOLDWING itself is just… ugh
  21. NDA is probably my least favorite song of hers.
  22. Still impressed with ADIAML. Marina deserves more recognition for her work. The lyricism, the production, the music videos, the LOOKS… honestly I’d rate this album at the same level as Froot. It has some of her best work.
