Like others have already corrected you -- she said he brought her chords, not the melodies. They're quite different. 
 
This is normal behaviour for her anyway. At least when she was working with Rick, he was mostly the one coming up with the chords. 
 
You're right that it is a collaborative process though. But we don't have enough information to say who did what and who deserves the "most" credit, as if it even matters. 

Very sad you always need to insult people to exist. I guess not everybody is smart when it comes to have a constructive discussion. Anyway, yes, she said she had 2 songs before meeting him. But I was talking about the songs they made together. And maybe she did some of the work. But Jack deserves credit too.

Don't wanna be a dick, but unlike her past records, Jack is actually the one coming with the melody... She even said herself that he was bringing her 5 chords melodies on piano and she was like "are you sure I can have this?"

Snippet sounds beter than HIAB but not really as promising as Cinnamon, Sylvia or HTD. But I love how all those previews seem to incline a very atmospheric cohesive record and not another LFL mess. And I'm glad she won't include those two songs she performed live, they were cute but nothing special.

Well I listened to it just now-first of all happy new year loves-and well I found it kinda "okay"
I need to hear the full thing to judge tho,I hope the 8th january single is still happening

I'd like her to cap the album off at 13 or 14 tracks. No deluxe/target/itunes edition/taco bell supreme/walmart reduced pricing tracks. Just a solid, cohesive album with no skips.
