This will turn out to be her worst era but best album

Well we've had 3 songs with shitty, sloppy, embarrassing visuals. Or should I say 4 songs? Since it's the HIAB video she used for MAC & VB
I'm not even going to say I hope you're right. It will be great if you're right, but I'm not about to stop lowering my expectations. Hope ain't getting us nowhere in this mess of an era.

I really wonder why there's not release date yet, like what was the point of making an album that you recorded months ago if you don't know when will the album be released yet?

What's the point in Lana doing a shoot/interview for a magazine if she hs nothing to discuss about the album considering we'll be getting it later this year, realistically.

low budget is no excuse for bad visuals. even no budget is no excuse. she just doesn't care about visuals anymore, or her taste has changed and genuinely doesn't want good visuals anymore. not all artists do and i respect that, but it would be nice if she made a point to talk about it in an interview or something so that we wouldn't keep waiting for the gorgeous visuals she used to be known for. to me it's a matter of knowing where we stand. she's allowed to change as a person, even do a complete 180, it's her life & her art. i just wish she'd let us know what's going on so that we know what to expect.

she never said she's doing a suprise drop, half of the stuff in these pre-release threads is messy fan fiction, people trying to make things look more deep than they are and some feaver-dream delusions from fans.
if i were her label i'd literally lock lana up in her contract for the whole next album era and let her have her first single once the whole album is done and approved bc she's clearly not capable of organising this stuff on her own.
people always forget the fact that she's at least partially to blame for the random release of songs before she even finished the album and i'm not even going to go deeper on the whole teasing songs on instagram thing.
additionally remember when she went out of her way to randomly announce that she's cancelling shows at the beginning of the year without ever announcing what shows she was talking about, completely forgetting about the whole thing and like.. there were no cancellations so far so what was that whole thing about. another drama and mess that could have been avoided so easily.

SAME. I actually thought she’d keep singing more UV songs, but we all know how that went...

I’d get this dress if it wasn’t so expensive. It’s one of my fave looks.

ntmt is the best. omanko is just white noise, you can't hear the lyrics in i will & kristine due to the excessive noise.
i like werewolf, i blame myself, i'm on top & ntmt the best.
@@Eclipse if one way to heaven & guardian aren't on the tracklist u are requested to leak these 2 songs.

so far the backings on all four have been what makes me love them
superstar has beautiful octaves, baby has those low harmonies, handmade heaven has an amazing vocal mix all around and orange trees has that heavenly last chorus

Def my fav out of the 4 songs she's released so far. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's cute and the chorus is catchy. Also, not sure if it was intentional, but love the yin/yang aspect of the two videos we've gotten so far (winter/summer) I'm really not trying to wait 5 weeks to hear the rest of the album though

I don't hate the dancers or anything, but yeah, they don't add the right element to her songs or performances. Lets just have three singers doing simple choreographed moves behind ha!!!

Look how Amy Winehouse's backup singers added life to her shows. They were amazing. God knows how many times Amy was on stage high as a kite and those two singers were right there singing her parts and saving the shows. Not that we have to worry about Lana being high on stage but just saying.
Those dancers are tacky and distracting and are adding nothing to the shows other then dance moves to songs that aren't even danceable.
Lana was just fine by herself on stage.

Because they don't really add anything to the set.
She would be better off with two backup singers then backup dancers. The singers would make the live music on stage sound better and she wouldn't need all that horrible backtracking in the background.
