imagine being rich and famous to the point that all you have to do for "work" is create beautiful art - and being too lazy to even do that.  honestly id rather her just not do anything or keep it to herself.  bc it feels like a slap in the face to everyone who actually works hard doing shit they dont wanna do just to survive, who dont even have the time theyd like to devote to their art, but keep trying anyway.  she's like "ha ha yeah i made it, im rich and famous, i can just do nothing but barely observe ab how the world (cough, not really the world, just LA) is burning but still not do anything about it".. then has the gall to act like shes doing a lot of good for the world or something

She should have stopped in 2012. She looked perfect in 2012 even as far as 2015. Nice lip fillers, nice nose shape, natural looking.

Hi friends! I've been meaning to post this for like ever, but I kept forgetting. Anyway, last August I had some fun recreating Lana's video & photoshoot for Keds that was shot on August 26, 2009 - I shot mine August 25, 2018, 9 years + 1 day apart! I wanted to share the finished product with you all as I thought it turned out pretty cute (instagram saw it first though, follow me @ xmissdaytona if ya feel like it)
 
Another fun fact, most of the video footage from the video were from Live Photos from the photoshoot I converted to videos, so I wasn't even really intending to create a whole video out of it, but I thought it turned out cute.

Update: December 20th - 

we can tell. she absolutely has cared about her appearance since the beginning. her nose job, cheek fillers, and lip fillers say hello!    we just think she looks better in certain things and has no eye for fashion. enjoying fashion and caring about your look is far from being vain. she has worn outfits that a lot of us LOVE. I'm going to be buying her Keds Coney Island dress! A lot of us have outfits that we dislike that she has worn. We still listen to her music and enjoy it. At the end of the day, she can wear what she wants and WILL wear what she wants. if i think she looks bad in bootcuts (nobody can look good in bootcuts, it's a scientifically proven fact) it doesn't mean I won't think she's one of the most beautiful humans I have ever seen. on behavior, people do have opinions on whether peoples should vape or smoke cigarettes and which is worse. it is okay to have informed opinions. we are not trying to control her though. when we hate when she dates a police officer, we are not trying to control her, but we are upset with the ignorance towards important, life-altering and life-ending issues. Sean Larkins has racially profiled people and has probably abused his power in the past (and present). We are disappointed with her lack of knowledge or her having knowledge and just not caring that she has displayed for years. When we make a big fuss about her going to a church that supports/supported conversion therapy or has ties to conversion therapy, we are obviously upset. we don't know why she goes to that church, but from here, as a very gay fanbase, it may really hurt people and make them question why their favorite artist- someone they look up to- goes there. At the end of the day, Lana Del Rey will do whatever she wants and has been doing whatever she wants, with a little hindrance from her label of course. We love this woman. We love her in her bootcuts, ankle length Adidas skirts, and ugly blouses. We love her in her babydoll dresses, old-hollywood glam gowns, leather jackets, and her 70s lace dresses (stream Leather and Lace by Stevie Nicks!) I agree, some of us do try to control her and it is a feminist issue of how people try to control women's bodies. Just wanted to let you know how I feel on what you said.

i generally think the prevalence of stylists in the celebrity sphere nowadays is unfortunate, since it dilutes/removes (opportunity for) personal style as both a concept and practice and homogenizes everyone's look...but sometimes ya really just need a hand or two or 5 in the fashion department

One of the top comments on the video is trying to make out like the people who find it dull are locals who only know summertime sadness, as if one of her most famous mvs isn't mentioned in every goddamn interview and article, and isn't also homemade. The difference between... this... and video games (and her lizzy vids for that matter) is the footage for vg fits the music, both in terms of timing, theme, and emotion. This doesn't at all. Watch the kill kill video and then watch the bartender segment. This is legit so lazy, and is2g this is the only big fanbase for a musician in which we're grateful for the absolute stalest crumbs and you're told you're not a "real fan" if you expect a drop of effort to be put into things like music vids lmao.

Sorry for having standards 'n' shit. It doesn't even have to be old Hollywood. It just needs to be cohesive, imo.
