I'm gonna rip it for you guys!

I really avoid making double posts about anything i release on the boards, because of the fact that i want to abide by the rules. As well as that theres no need to. However, this time around i had to make an exception. And the reason for that exception comes from me being proud of the work i was able to do on Lana's record Summertime Sadness. Capturing the record in a time that the song would've been perfect for. All the while maintaining the beautiful essence of her etheral & melodically angelic vocal work, & the soul of the record itself. Can't wait to release the full version soon.

I know Miley cant sing Summertime Sadness as good as Lana. But is she really a better singer than Miley?  
If Lana sounds better to you then thats great, we all have different taste, Lana is a soprano which means her natural voice is high and girly, Miley is the complete opossite being the deep voice of a woman, a contralto, so we cant really compare this two, at all, but i will for you. Every singer has their weakness and I dont wanna bash Lana, but shes not a better vocalist than Miley.
 
Dont you see Miley hitting those effortless Summertime Sadness low notes. Lana hits that note once every 50 performances because she lacks control of this part of her voice. Kinda like Britney whos voice is deep but always sings high thats why she ruined her voice and sounded really bad live, lana sings lower than she can and she may destroy her voice.
 
Lanas voice live doesnt fit with her studio, her technique suddenly dissapears in the stage and it all turns to a mess, low, middle and high notes, and I know shes very aware of that. She has NO CONTROL of her voice.
Miley controls low and middle perfectly. Her highs are good, and bonus she reaches crazy high tones. Lanas tone is more pleasant too most people, but she cant sing like Miley at all. Miley has better control and power.
 
Lana has great potential, if she had control of her voice imagine all the crazy beautiful stuff she would do. But she doesnt have it, which is ok with all fans of her, we love her anyway, but I have to stop you when you say
Lana sings better than Miley. Each have their weaknesses but Lana is far from being a skilled vocalist.

She sings this better than 90% of the people and people are saying this sucks...

I hope we can maintain this thread as being a kind of Barrie appreciation thread, I personally love him. He's a real chilled out, cool guy. I think I'd die if him and Lana broke up. But it's kind of annoying how everyone just uses his twitter to get info off Lana, he is an artist himself - just because he's not as popular. (Although it's good to hear she's already writing again even after the leaks, assuming he didn't just make it up).

Stop the Barrie bashing, He's a nice chap who can dress as a gentleman (Cannes) if he wants/is forced to

First, he's honestly not an ugly man. You don't have to find him attractive, but let's be real; it's not like he's offensive to look at. Also, who honestly cares what Barrie is wearing? We're not on BarrieBoards tbh.
Like I said before, WHY DOES EVERYONE CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT BARRIE IS WEARING? He's never exactly been Mr. GQ, so I don't know why everyone has such high expectations for him. He really shouldn't have to care and I can see where he wouldn't.
As I mentioned, I'm not some huge Barrie advocate who's just in love with him, I could take him or leave him (as long as Lana's happy, so am I) but all this hating and fashion-shaming doesn't make any fucking sense to me idk...

Maybe she's fucking pissed off that she works hard on beautiful songs for her new record and they are leaked online and she feel slike she can't use them on her new album. In the radio.com interview she was definitely sounding like she wouldn't include them as they are already out.
 
It could be likely that those Rick Nowels songs were the only tracks that she had done specifically for the next album, and as all of those leaked it's like she's back at the drawing board having to start over again. Which I imagine would feel extremely frustrating and would persuade her to step away from the music industry for a while. I do hope this isn't the case though
