^ I always/still hear "Buy her tonight" But I think that in live performances, you can hear "Audiotune lies" more clearly.

Doesn't she, every time ? (honest question, I feel like I've seen her name in the production's credits before, but I'm too lazy to check) -

So it's basically a Rick Nowels/kieron Menzies/Lana produced album ? I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you're going for a cohesive "themed" album. I'm a bit bummed by the absence of Mark Ronson, tbh. Judge me if you want, but I would have loved to hear some "Queen of Disaster" type songs on Honeymoon. From what I see on this page ( http://lanadelrey.wikia.com/wiki/Rick_Nowels ) I like Nowels's work. Apparently Kieron Menzies worked on HBTB. Anything else ? -
There's a sentence I never thought I'd read

I had a dream about Lana a year ago, and it suck with me because of what I felt during it. I was actually in love with her (and she was in love with me ) haha but I'm getting ahead of myself. SO I dreamed that I was doing a school trip in Cologne (which happened for real, but like 7 years ago ? whatever) And as I was walking through the city streeeeets, I saw Lana, sitting on a bench, her long hair hiding her gentle face. She looked exactly like this : And I noticed she was crying. As a gentleman, I immediately went to her, and asked what was wrong and I sort of forgot what was the matter and how we started having a conversation, but soon we were both walking side by side, in the city of Cologne. And it was a beautiful feeling. Although I'm so ashamed since I am NOT the stan type, and I never even felt remotely like this towards her in real life. Hahaha, anyway, I then had to leave so yeah ... All good things come to an end.

Okay, let's talk about "Diet Mtn Dew" "Diet mountain dew, baby, New York City Never was there ever a girl so pretty Do you think we’ll be in love forever? Do you think we’ll be in love" I just love the way that she starts with the simple (most random) things in life, as a trampoline to deeper questions. And the melody is just beautiful. The verses are all one thing : cute and dreamy and hopeful and melancholic. All in one. And what about this : Baby stoppin’ at seven eleven There in his white Pontiac heaven Do you think we’ll be in love forever? Do you think we’ll be in love? I mean, the flow on the first two lines is so good, and right after that moment where the song just floats in mid air for a couple of seconds... If you prefer the demo versions, that's perfectly fine, they're great ! I fell in love with the one she posted on her YT account, with that picture of her, with the rose crown on her blond hair ... Such a throwback. (As a bonus : ) Hit me and tell me you're mine I don't know why but I like it Scary, my god, you're divine Gimme them, gimme them dope and diamonds Members of the jury, I'm done.

"Life Is Beautiful" - Soundtrack for The Age of Adaline
BlueJeans replied to Trash Magic's topic in New Releases
No, sorry, not at all, I just meant it in the way : all her stuff leaks eventually, so we'll just have to wait -
I always thought she said "cover", like "Don't judge a book by its cover" ? I think Lana Del Rey has some amazing lyrics, some less good and some quite bad. I couldn't get over "Cry tears of gold like lemonade ". But the melody usually makes up for those. About the recurrence of certain words ("red dress", "pale moonlight" etc ...) I think it actually sort of build her universe and it creates a form of intertextuality within her own world. Wait wuuuuuut

Probably the most pointless, absurd use of a song ... I wonder how Lana feels about it. Did she stop liking the song and asked for it not to be featured anywhere ? Is that even possible, aren't there contracts ? But in that case, WHERE is it ??? Haha, mysterious mystery ... -
Can we banish members, based on the "minus" they give out ?

I've bought a couple of albums on albums, and some of them come with a digital booklet. It depends on the product -
My father can't really stand Lana Del Rey, but whenever he hears this song, he gets all happy and tries to sing along

I think it's fair to say that we can hear a clear evolution in her voice in practically every register she uses. -
I never liked the "S" in the Philfont font ...

THANK YOU ! And I'm so tired of people saying "BTD / Paradise fans are 14 year old idiots" blablabla ... No I'm not, I'm a 23 year old male and Born To Die was the most innovative record I had heard in a LONG time. Everything was on point and I was mesmerized : the way she burst on the scene was captivating, the universe she created for herself was nothing like anything I had ever witnessed before, her voice was very peculiar, her looks were so gorgeous, the alliance of lush instruments with hard hip hop beats was SO good, her esthetics were immaculate, her vision complete ... I could probably go on for a while but you get the idea. Don't get me wrong, I like UV and I'll probably enjoy Honeymoon as well, since she never disappoints, but I'm sick and tired of people mocking others for their preference towards those first two albums.

Very interesting ! It would explain the "Major Tom" part and fit with the description of Lana "observing" people ...
-
Omg you're right !! How is that even possible, don't they check and double check ?
-
When Lana takes the urban route, she rarely misses the mark !
-
Yeah, it does sound very UV album like !
