"No more night... Blue Sky forever..." - night shot showing the city of angels under a trillion stars and a gigantic Moon.. I still dont get the aesthetic of this era. The album cover doesn't really suit its title track imo ! Anyway, I enjoy the song a lot ! Not my favorite lyrics throughout but it's got some nice parts ! Nice harmonies, too. The Weeknd's tone is sublime !

I think it's safe to say that all of them are very good in their own way. I see "Angels Forever" as a "Ride" clone, too, but I can sort of distinguish the path she was going to take in the following months. "Your Girl" is very good, it would have fit on the album. "Say Yes to Heaven": I haven't really listened to it much, since it came out... "Fine China" has a beautiful melody with its verses... So for me: - (Angels Forever) - Fine China - Your Girl - Say Yes to Heaven

The more I look at the picture, the more I feel like I'm looking at a look alike. Of course I'm not saying that's the case but...

I saw this on an IG fan account and honestly thought it was a manip. I recognize her face but it's as if it was mixed with another woman's... Weird ! And her smile, though Beautiful, looks forced here. The crop of the picture looks off, too. The UO vinyl was better designed in that aspect... I'm a big fan of BTD (cover, songs, era..) but this cover looks odd when you compare it to the official visuals we received so far; the Love poster, MV and LFL trailer... The logo is a welcome change although I would have kept the Rainbow font for the title. And as someone said, the way it crossed the border is a bit amateurish... All in all, it's better than HM (or UV sorry not sorry - mind you I wasn't a big fan of Paradise either, her skin color always bugged me on it anyway). I wonder what the back of the album will look like. Will it be an "opposite" ? Lana in space, for instance ? Or just text like BTD ?

Very different vibe for Lana but yet so her... The hollywood hills, the film noir vibe, the monologue, the grandma shoes I really get the impression that the elevator of Disneyland's "Tower of Terror" is about to drop. The lightning bolts, the floating objects, the space elements... (can't find a better video, sorry)

Hmm not sure about a title track being a feature but hey... I'm curious ! The video is so "Tower of Terror" (the Disney attraction). Cute !

Why DID she get dropped ? Was it her choice or Def Jam's ? I mean, her videos have a pretty strong number of views so interest is there (in case the label wasn't sure about investing in her).

I like it. I'm not a fan of the "crazy, crazy, crazy" lyrics but that's personal.. The chorus is strong, it really carries the song. It's funny, I hear a bit of everything in it: BTD éléments in the production, Paradise era with Young and Beautiful (the bridge), UV and HM in the vocals.. Bless her for being so composed about this situation !

It's cute. There are some nice moments with the rap part and the ending. Is it lead single worthy ? Not sure. Would it have been a good album track ? Probably.

I'm grateful for Honeymoon for the following songs: - Honeymoon - Terrence Loves You - High By The Beach - Salvatore I think the main problem for this album is the fact that it sounds the same throughout. However, Mariah had the same issue on "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" (spare me the remarks about the title, we know ! hahaha). It sounded the same because she had worked with the same people, both in terms of lyrics and production. But now, when you take each song individually, there's some great stuff. I appreciate the instruments that were used. My main criticism is the effect they put on Lana's voice (but that already started with UV, so...) and the lyrics. They're not her best, I find. In terms of visuals, well... None worth mentioning, as far as I'm concerned, except maybe the album trailer.

I loved the performance. I think Gaga and Beyoncé are honestly those artists that you can rely on to deliver a powerful live performance. I think Jessie J would be in the same league, but I'm afraid she doesn't have enough hits (but that girl has some pipes and some stamina ! incredible.. ANYWAY back to Stefani). I think the intro was almost the best part. Simple, powerful, with a message behind it... The rest was pure fun. I guess what people are underwhelmed about is the lack of grandiose stunts, costumes etc... There were, obviously, but I think the public has a very distinct representaiton of Gaga and they expect nothing less. The setlist was good, imo, good hits (Oh, the "Dance in the Dark" elements, at the start... ). I think in terms of visuals, it lacked a teeny something. The light bars were cute but not as iconic as, say, a Beyonce profile in flames. By the way, kuddos to these girls who didn't jump on Gaga, I'm not the biggest monster out there but I would have been starstruck (baby cause you blow my heart up...). And most importantly, her vocals were strong. Impressive gal, really.
