Lana inspiration...? Absolutely everything about her is Lana coded. She's tapped the index. She swallowed the glossary. One of her videos is every Lana era blended together and vomited out super ugly style.
I don't wish her ill will, but I don't wish her success. I wish her some actual artistic development. But then again, all the BTD-era fans have to feast on lukewarm scraps from somewhere. All the hype I see in her YouTube and Instagram comments makes my stomach churn. The reason why Lana's as big as she is, is because she created the *entire* artistic world this woman is playing dress up in. And they just eat it up. It's processed food. Then they ask "Why are cancer rates skyrocketing?". Because you're eating shit.
I'm left wondering if this girl has *one* original idea for her art? I'd love to see that. Just one. It feels like a cheap ploy for attention, and of course, it's working... A sucker is born every day.

The back-to-back hit of Kintsugi -> Fingertips might be too much, or a breaking point for casual listeners (or BTD stans), but they're sisters. They belong together. It's the heart of the album.

Wow. Queen really keeps us on our toes. If she likes it, I love it. Can't wait to hear how this influences her music.

Favorite song on the album. I still stand by my thought that the chorus sounds anthemic in a deconstructed Springsteen way - it takes me back to how he would form a song into something hopeful and resolute. The verses are full of character, the bridge is THAT bridge, the horns are gorgeous... Idk. I know this one's already being overlooked, but I think it's so important to the album.

I think this could be a massive album for her if she plays her cards right. Country is huge in the US and Lana just keeps growing by the year. If she gets Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Dolly, etc. on it that would only help her, too. Luke Laird and Jack... whew. She's wild.
My only hope is that it's an album full of originals. I pray it isn't like, half covers or something. 1-2 covers is fine, but I want true Lana-country-songs.

i love that approximately no one ever cheers or screams for Bartender, it isn't a fan favorite, it's buried at the end of NFR!, no one even remembers she made a music video for it... but there it is. in the middle (or beginning) of every Lana setlist. forever. whether you like it or not.
(i love Bartender btw)
