Two more snippets and I still don't like it. Sadly this isn't anything like Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (as much as I love the original, I actually like Lana's cover even more tbh) or Summer Wine (same, Barry sounded amazing too).

Having heard the three snippets, I'm almost sure it's not on NFR. Sounds too much of a bop to be on it. From what we heard, this her most BTD track since BTD lol. Doesnt fit the NFR aesthetics. 

She will probably post about it, then make another post after saying NFR coming soon then sit back like   without every making it clear if it is or not.  

It really sounds like she’s made the song her own, I’m excited! Sounds really great.

I hope she just clarifies whether or not it's on NFR when she releases it. I'm tired of speculating everything.

i saw her live yesterday in bournemouth and it was EVERYTHING. the crowd completely lost it at almost every song and they all YELLED the lyrics kljdsflkdsf. i've waited 8 or 9 years to see her live now and it was SO worth it travelling across the ocean to see her in the UK

Enjoy your life has rly rly started to grow on me. Maybe TMI but I've been having an uphill battle with schizophrenia for over a decade and it just went into remission, so that "your worst days they are over" really hits differently now.

God, the l4l period was such a stunner compared to this. Having notifications on for her actually meant something. 
 
I agree with other people on here in that she's changed a lot since the beginning of making NFR. She seemed so happy on tour and happy meeting fans, going into the crowd... ugh. I think it's difficult for her to be in the music zone with her saddie friends and the energy they seem to bring. All for an artist changing and growing, personally and professionally, but completely losing any professionalism... sad. Someone posted her poetry to a fb group that makes fun of poetry, and someone pointed out that her lyrics are massively helped by the music behind them. They mostly list items or activities vaguely associated with Americana, and sang the right way with the right music, it can work. On a piece of paper?

I stand by my earlier statement that it doesn't make sense to release a cover to tease an album.
 
Maybe it isn't for the album. In which case, that's even more confusing. Like, did Interscope make her put this out as a compromise because she doesn't want to release a song from NFR? Which is strange af because she's given us snippets of about 5 different ones.
 
So as I said. Confused. I hope there's a method to the madness.

Literally nowhere has she said that this is the lead single. Can you all stop parroting that like it's gospel?

it really sounds so produced and edited. sounds like theres pitch correction on vocals. uhhhhh this doesnt sound like anything else we've heard from nfr. do we know jack produced it? lol watch her release another album and not nfr. 

A lot of artists do covers and make them singles. It's happened before.

I just compared the beginning of the original and the cover and her production is faster and for me sounds way much prettier. I’m ready.
