iirc she had a lot more creative control this time around right?? it makes makes all this critical acclaim so much more amazing to see knowing she didn't have a label telling her what to do and that her talent is being taken seriously. this is what happens when you trust artists with their visions . take notes r*cord l*bels!

kinda shocked fantano gave it a 10/10!! idk if i just dont get it for now, dont get me wrong this album is amazing, just i still think pop 2 and hifn is better than it and its weird that only now charli is getting this universal acclaim from critics and public alike. i love it and im glad its happening, i just wonder why now

People hating on ITAATT and Girl, so confusing but both of those songs and their lyrical content are a big reason why this album's sitting at 94 on metacritic rn

I agree and really hate all this billboard stuff. I really don’t understand why she doesn’t just release all of the acoustics on one cd (after the original album so it still counts as the same album for it to still count on billboard) like surely more people would buy the album if they were all on one cd? right now only a small really dedicated rich portion of her fanbase can afford to buy all these acoustic versions on separate albums. 
 
like I’ve said before it’s just going to make her next album cycle worse cause she just has to keep breaking records so she, and everyone else doing this, is just shooting themselves in the foot by playing this stupid game

I really, really hope this forces Billboard to change their rules and limit the number of tracklist variations that count towards the same album

the way brat is totally sorta kinda her Norman Fucking Rockwell! moment, an album that not only feels like a victory lap for the artist but also solidifies everything fans have been saying about the artist for years while also redefining the records that came before it  and both achieving a new critical acclaim peak for the artist while also giving many new fans a great entry point to their discographies  and like NFR! I think brat is going to be a big turning point for Charli, its like after this record I have no clue where she and the music is going to head next and after an album like brat that feels so full circle moment for her she really can go in any direction she wants 

then we can all finally hand in our stan cards!  show’s over folks!
