I’m so tired of people (even Charli herself) calling her underrated. She has a great career and a maybe a little bit messy but also loyal fanbase. But people, mainly her fans, still think that a huge commercial success is a MUST. If she’s still not the biggest after I Love It, Fancy, Boom Clap and Break the Rules – she’s not going to be a main pop star anyway. And I think this is her destiny - playing small club shows, meeting her fans in the queue for her own concerts, having a real contact with them via social media etc.
 
So yeah, maybe she’s not like Beyonce or Taylor Swift but she’s definitely loved and appreciated and has a career that many artists can only dream of.

Seeing charli’s Instagram feed vs. Camila’s Instagram feed their relationship seems very one sided but who knows

I guess with Taylor but if you invited her on tour with you, you think it would be nice to like maybe RT one of her tweets? And her and Camila are supposed to be really good friends so I think thats really weird/fake

it bothers me that whenever charli releases a single like atap or boys or 1999, the label expects it to chart yet they pay her dust for the rest of the year... like the GP hasn't heard of charli since boys and even then it's not like that song went #1. how do they expect 1999 to do super well if they haven't bothered investing a dime into keeping charli a relevant name? angels do LABOUR to promote her and charli is clearly working her ass off, it's sad that atlantic just expects that to be enough. stream 1999

This! I just want a full mainstream pop record, she's more than capable - she's one of the best pop writers in the industry! The hook on 1999 has been in my head since release! And I know she didn't write Boys but she executed the song and it's visuals brilliantly...

I would be completely content with her releasing pop albums and keeping all the PC stuff on mixtapes
