Does it light up the spark?
    Do you remember my name?

Is she a Ride or Die Bitch?
Does she know I'm tattooed onto your heart?
You can try to fight it.
I have left my mark on you
There is nothing you can do...

When you think you're over me
And your bad baby is dead and gone
Remember I'm the ghost in your machine
I'm your real life suicide blonde.

You're in love, you're in love,
    You're in love
Well she might be here, might be hot
    But baby she's not me."

I think Lana is spiritually sensitive. She is probably a medium. I am an universalist spiritist and sorta get some pretty highly spiritual vibes from her like she is constantly channeling stuff.

i'm telling you this bitch feels nothing but undercurrents of abstract emotion every now and then, and everything else is ruled by her head

i think there has to be some kind of inverse relationship with emotionality and incisive eloquence in communication. she's so good at articulating herself, but most of that is an intellectual process. i think she's confusing because there's such a vast disconnect between what she feels and what she thinks, whereas with most people, the two processes are more intertwined (rather than paradoxical)

a lot of elements probably factor into the outcome of the interview too. how her day is going, the vibe of the interviewer, whether she feels more emotional or more numb, etc on that particular day. maybe her connection with god is more spiritual (abstract) but detached (mentally); and on this particular day she decided to share her more rational perspective on the matter? who knows with her bipolar ass

this is exactly how i took what she said. i feel like that sometimes, doesn't mean i'm actively suicidal. this interview really convinced me that lana is an enneagram 4--does anyone agree? i am one too and i think that's why i feel such a connection to lana.

The Four is the personality type which emphasizes the subjective world of feelings, in creativity and individualism, in introversion and self-absorption, and in self-torment and self-hatred. In this personality type we see creative artists, romantic aesthetes, and withdrawn dreamers, people with powerful feelings who feel different from others because self-consciousness blocks them from getting outside themselves.

i really encourage anyone interested in lana's psyche to read this page. it's fits her to a T. thoughts?

The Guardian is an amazing paper, one of the few international papers that actually do NEWS. About "shit" British media...oh please you can't even begin to compare BBC to CNN, ABC or any US network, not even in the same league credibility and integrity wise. CNN manipulated a entire war and US media created TMZ as a "thing" that has more access then most newspapers online journals combined, so go figure. As far as I'm concerned the only country where Pierce Morgan could find a job after the Daily Mirror scandal was in America....on Larry King's chair..... at CNN. By the way the Brits actually punished The Daily Mirror executives....

It's a fault on both sides:
What Lana said was very much exaggerated to make her look suicidal.
However, that we can't dismiss the fact Lana did say she wished she was dead. But as others have said, people say "kill me now" and no one questions if they're suicidal.

But in general, people just need to give Lana a break. I don't know why there is such a fascination with giving Lana especially a hard time, but there really is no reason as to why she should be picked on. And I think that's what she's sick of. To be honest, I would be too. That's probably why she hasn't wanted to be interviewed recently.

All in all this is what I think she's trying to say: Let the music speak for itself. Lana is here to make music and pursue her dream; Her personal life is another story. The fact that this interview exploited and was exaggerated is something she's been trying to get away from for so long, and I think that's why seeing this interview was so hard for her.

I only 19 and I think the shows being 21 and up would solve a lot of issues I would give up being able to see a Lana show for a few years to get those kind of "fans" as far away from Lana as possible

I think she simply has different views on death than the majority of people in this world and saying it quite openly like she did in the interview leads to these kinds of ''sensations''. I just think it says a lot about the world we live in and in what kind of culture do we find ourselves. This definitely was blown out of proportion and twisted, I do believe in that.
I honestly don't get it, I don't understand what has she done to deserve all the bullshit she gets, because really, it seems like she does get more than other people do. How about just let her be/create music/sing? So simple, yet it seems that our media-driven culture is incapable of just appreciating things for what they are. There always has to be some-kind of ranking/competition system that puts people/artists against each other. And more than anyone else, I don't understand critics. Like, what kind of job exactly is that? It's like all they do is sit all day make fun of/criticize others for what they do, because, well, at least they DO something in their lives. The rant's over, thank you

I think she's just upset because she speaks complexly and not literally there was a miscommunication someplace and what was a deep interview about the beauty of dead icons and the mysteries of death.....got turned into a suicide cry that's why she's claiming it was manipulated the quotes in the interview sound like her speaking but its all in the tone and context we should all just be happy she's not crying for help and showing her back bone!

I;m glad UV is weeding all the BTD lovers out o the picture. I love BTD, prob still prefer it to UV in a way [we'll see over time though], but UV is an essential artistic and musical transition for her that has revealed the artist she really wants to be. I'm invested in her as an act who can shift and grow, i don;t care to compare or expect BTD ever again to her future work.

I do think she said al those things. But journalist are like pyschologists in a way, sort of. The make you talk. If you spend a couple of hours with someone who seems interested in you and asks you interesting questions then you start talking. But I defenitely think that journalists let the conversation go a certain way. And then things blow up with stupid headlines and such.

And with her reacting to it now, and not the last 2 years. Ultraviolence is a new era. She got a lot of backlash with born to die and paradise. Really a lot of bad press.
This is supposed to be the new album to show the critics her music, not her persona.
So I think she reacts now because she wants to make sure that this is not wat she intended, wat she really feels, and that its not a big deal. Lets focus on the music.

If that makes any sence at all.

I think were all just hoping so.... The fact that she has him on tour with her , is using his name in Ultraviolence .. and he has written 2 songs (that we know about) for her could indicate one of 2 theories FOR ME.

1 she needs him as a muse and is still holding onto her relationship with him and needs him to keep her good(clean)?....
    OR
2 she is retelling  the tales of her unreleased songs for us  and jimmy is an important stories she wants to fully tell. and he is just on tour with her to boost his fame.?.

Im pretty much ok with either of these things being true, but the fact that she Premiered  Ultraviolence live  the way she did makes me feel like it was for him like it was unexpected. he could have been  hearing it for the first time just like everyone else, Then when she is speaking the Spanish lines in the song she looks so embarrassed and shy  like school girl Lizzy :3
