Interesting? I mean all her other albums sounded great on any platform I was listening to them, whether it was in my car, with headphones or on speaker? NFR is a good record, but that production ain't all it. Also I wonder with what kind of cheap microphone it was all recorded with tbh.

You know I'd love if critics actually talked about music, the production, what's known about how and why the album was written- aka review the fucking music- instead of making jabs at their usage of 'personas' and commenting on their plastic surgery and the fact the sing about men when men that sing about women and use personas have been called geniuses for decades

The live shows, as usual, were a mixed bag ... some songs/shows she sounded great, others not so much.
 
Let's not pretend that she always sounds flawless, especially lately.
 
It's not that she can't sing, we know that she can. It's definitely a confidence issue ... she comes off as very unsure of herself. She doesn't sing half of her songs and we all label her "lazy" or incapable of singing when in reality I think she's just scared of messing up. I remember watching the live stream of Malahide and she sounded very shaky at the start, even when she was just talking to the audience.
 
I also thinks that's why she brought in Ashley and Alex ... I think having them there on stage with her reassures her. Unfortunately, it still doesn't seem to be enough.
 
As I said on the other thread, if she sings Shades of Cool during this tour - SINGS, not just murmurs along to a backing track - I will be shocked.

I would've preferred if sis had shut up, but at the same time, I think it's her right to defend herself and her art.
 
All the critic's pals on Twitter seem to think it's okay for the critic to have an opinion on sis and her art, but it's not okay for sis have an opinion on what the critic says about her.
 
I think they're salty because nobody cares about reviews and critics as much as they did 20 years ago or whatever, so they resorted to this "millennials are entitled and can't take criticism" argument.

It's possible that it was for another artist but given that it involved both Charlie and Chuck, I doubt it.
