Not My Problem is her worst track wtf did I just listen to That Kinda Woman is a career highlight for Miss Lipa for sure. Definitely the standout of the new edition. Ugh the production is orgasmic We're Good reminds me of one of the instrumentals from TU,N but for the life of me I can't figure it out which one. Anyway its cute and probably a grower If It Ain't Me slaps mildly and it's great we can all hear it legally in HQ. It does tho sound quite hollow without the feature and its a war crime Normani was cut from the track Talking about war crimes...Love Is Religion isn't on here and for that I cannot forgive Lipa. Also I don't know why Un Dia, Prisoner and Fever are on here. They all take up slots that could've been filled with newer and better tracks but I guess she wants to add the streams to the deluxe edition.

I've never listened to any of Taylor's stuff pre-godly Red. Sooo this is actually really exciting for me I'm super looking forward to it but in the meantime I want to do some homework. What tracks should I listen to from Fearless that you lot consider god-tier perfection?

BTD though a tiny bit dated now still is extremely pleasant to listen to. Some lyrics have aged ("But I wish I dead" makes me cringe so hard) well at all but that's just BC Lana has matured into a better songwriter for the most part anyway. I think some of the themes of BTD are still relatable and only get stronger with age. Video Games, Carmen and Million Dollar Man are timeless. As they carry the classic tropes of love, the danger of fame, heartbreak etc Themes in music that are eternal. They are written in a way that anyone from any age can relate to whole heartedly. Unlike tracks like TIWMUG or Blue Jeans which slowly become less relatable, once you get older and more emotionally grounded. I think that in truth is a small factor in what makes an album dated. I have to second this. Its probably imo, the best superhero that's ever been made. Its wonderfully well written coupled with a deeply intriguing plot that keeps the audience second guessing what the hell is actually happening. Also Olsen and Bettany profomances are one of the strongest points for the show. Both really do shine and I've loved the natural chemistry between them.

She's ruined the whole era for herself and us fans. Lana, no sorry, her mangers and label desperately need to get a brand new PR team. Tell her to keep her mouth closed on subjects that she has little to no understanding of and to stop posting on her socials for awhile unless its to do with promo. Her behaviour the last few months has been atrocious and coupled with Lana believing in her own hype after the critical success of NFR, has made it seriously hard to stan her these days.

I really hope Biden has extra security now when his inauguration takes place. No doubt protesters will be there and (I can't belive I am saying this in the 21st century) some will try to make a attempt on his life. God this is insane... Shame on Trump for what his done to the U.S. Shame on him for causing and enabling such division and hatred. Most of all shame on all his supporters. History will not look kindly on any of them and I will personally for the rest of my life, make sure they'll be seen for the evil that all of them are.

This × 100 I find myself going back to Chelsea Hotel so many times. She adds so much of her personality, it's breathtaking. Its so raw emotionally, even more so than original and that's partially to her amazing vocals. The production being so bare boned definitely adds to the atmosphere of the cover aswell I also love OUAD. God she did THAT.

Since AS&C isn't coming anytime soon. I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk about her studio covers and which in your opinion is her defining one so far. It would be also interesting to see what you truly belive makes a great Lana cover and what doesn't. Is it the production? The ability to bring something new to the track? Or is it something else? Welcome to Lanaboards Personally I hate it. Usually I can find a few redeemable elements in some of Lana's weaker tracks but TOW is such a mess. The reverb alone for me and the caked on filters just ruined it. Her vocals sound awful, especially near the end. But that might be due to the production and not her.

I personally feel atm it really doesn't matter if this covers album ever appears or not. We have COCC literally round the corner, which I'm more invested in. Plus I feel like IF AS&C does exist it would be either a hit or miss mess. She either delivers a great cover with her own twist that works extremely well (Chelsea Hotel, Doin Time) or butchers them (Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, The Other Woman) She's never been consistent

I really hope she shines vocally, nothing else really matters Putting the SNL performance to bed with the GP would do her soooo much good. This honestly feels like a potentially second wind in Lana's career if she can pull it off.

About to order 12" picture disc of One Kiss. It looks really good judging by the YouTube video I've seen. Wdy guys think? Is it worth it?

Its still too heavy on the features but tbf on Gaga it was waaay ahead of the game if you consider the early prototype trap-esque elements within the track. Seriously if it was released say two/three years ago as a single it would've done really well, especially when looking back on what was happening in the charts at the time
