Darn! That's what I thought it meant, too.  This thread is enlightening me. I kept thinking of revolution and V For Vendetta and it all made sense.  Now I'm a bit disappointed. 

This isn't exactly contributing to the thread, but has anyone else ever noticed that once you started listening to Lana, any other artist you used to listen to or now hear has really "inferior" lyrics? Maybe that's just me.

I wanted to reply with a looong list of Lana songs... But I realized I'd have to mention every single Lana song. The funny little thing about it is that, damn, all her songs are masterpieces for me. I'm glad that there are so many of them, of so many kinds.

The song Radio, to me, has always been more about the mood and the melody than the lyrics, which for the most part aren't that great. One line, though:

That line has always been really poignant to me. I guess other people haven't mentioned it because besides that line it isn't a very special song lyrically.

Let's be real, OTTR is just one big lyrical masterpiece but my favorite line is: Glass room, perfume, cognac, lilac fumes / Says it feels like heaven to him

Well, I find it weird that freaking Gods and Monsters wasn't mentioned in every comment yet.... (seriously wtf, or am I delusional and I only imagined that 95% of the fanbase is in love with those lyrics)

I think what you mean is that sometimes there is more emphasis on the words than the sound, but I wouldn't go that far.

Edit: How could I forget?! I would die if someone found where she got the dress she wore when she performed in Atlanta. I saw it in person and it was so beautiful! It made me so jealous of her legs. Even one that looks similar and isn't exact would be nice.
 

 
Unfortunately I am like 99% sure that both of these dresses were found in little hole-in-the-wall places and there are no real other ones like it for sale. I'm trying to be faithful. I feel like Lana and I have similar tastes in clothes except I'm too broke to buy most of the things I want. 

Ok,so I'm always so curious as to where Lana gets her clothes (and whether or not I can afford them, ) and so I figured I would start this thread if anyone has any information on her recent clothes. There's blogs that tell you where to purchase the clothes but they're all from 2011. I figured that there had to be at least someone who's good at this kind of stuff and help the rest of us out. Especially any information on the tour outfits would be AMAZING. Thanks

My fantasy was really fed with those few lines and then I read that recent interview (don't know which one precisely) where the journalist describes Lana smoking a Parliament. So it was just a cig. Meh ...
