  1. FMWUTTT, PWYC and TOW will most likely be my favorites together with FK and BRBY.
  2. I'm even more in love with Pretty When You Cry and The Other Woman. Money Power Glory could also be a Marina and the Diamonds song Fucked My Way Up To The Top seems to be super-flawless Sad Girl will really be a very good Jazz-Song. Old Money will really be a classy song, somehow reminds me a little bit of Bel Air (even tough she sings lower notes and the instrumental seems to be super stripped-down) Such a shame that we haven't got any new snippets of FLORIDA KILOS (just thinking of the name is )
  3. Since when is her hair red again? Or is that an old picture?
  4. Maybe they sped up the verses so they can go all tempo-change on the chorus, aka WC and SoC
  5. "In the chorus, he plays this role as my confidante, lover, pimp, whatever."
  6. Yeah, but for me the way she sings and the "emotions" as well as the lyrics kind of seemed to fit CW. While MPG is said to be "I want the Money, the Power and the glory!" and have some kind of hip-hop-esque beats and in the snippet her voice sounds "cooler", while CW seems to be more desperate. Well, we'll see ...
  7. Yeah, when the drums kick in and she sings the low note on "feel you pretty baby, feel me" it's just like I also feel like, although it's not Kill Kill, Florida Kilos sounds more like it could have been from the AKA era.
  8. Yeha, more like a vinyl effect, like on Blue Velvet or Cola.
  9. Old Money has a line which is very similar to Metamphetamines. And the composer says "Elizabeth Grant" instead of Lana Del Rey. Coincidence?
  10. Can anyone figure out the "Florida Kilos" lyrics? BTW the trainsound in FMWUTTT is flawless!
  11. I really think that Cruel World is song Sad girl and Pretty When You Cry - two tracks I was the least excited about, but they sound so wonderful - so jazzy! Money Power glory sounds kind of like it could have been on Born To Die, I wonder how the chorus will sound like Fucked My Way U To The Top sounds super-beautiful ... did really not expect that. Old money sounds like it will be the Million Dollar Man song of UV - classy and calm. The Other Woman - so sad that it's just going to be a short song, it really sounds beautiful and I also think that it has this "cover"-sound, she sings different in comparison to her own songs. It was the same with Blue Velvet and I love Paris (you know, the live cover she did in Paris) Black Beauty sounds like it wasn't changed so much, just "adjusted" to the UV sound. Good! Florida Kilos sounds - special. Could be from her AKA album, i love how her voice sounds. So yeah, I can say I wasn't disappointed, vice versa - I expected less. is This Happiness and Flipside will be great too I am sure.
  12. I could imagine UV getting a story-telling video and SoC consisting from the outtakes we've seen in the Itunes teaser.
  13. I can say I am very satisfied. I already loved the snippet, but the complete song turned out to be very different from what I expected, however in a very pleasent yet different way. It seems like the verses are about talking to someone in a serious way, while she withdraws into her bubbly-brooklyn-girl world in the chorus ("well, ...") Really like it!
  14. Another sarcastic song apart from FMWUTTT YAS! I am really looking forward to MPG
  15. I am kind of suprised how radio interwievs seem to be all happy and cute while the printed ones are - mostly - depressed and sad ...
  16. Interesting but also a little bit of depressing interwiev, but I really love that statement.
  17. Ultraviolence, West Coast, perhaps Brooklyn Baby and maybe one older song, like Summertime Sadness, Video Games, Born To Die, Blue Jeans, Ride, Young & Beautiful ...
  18. Having your opinion is really ok and you don't have to like everything about an artist. But it's possibleto express opinions without putting on a fight, like you already did in the FADERS interwierv threat ... Calm down, disucssing in a forum is much more fun when you don't have to break each others teeth ...
  19. Would love to know what's on her playlist ... Has anyone the full list or a screen?
  20. There are a lot of b*tchfight between grown up women and men in the music industry, so it wouldn't be that unusual. We know Lana is very sensetive (remember all her nice YT comments?) and lashes out at persons who she thinks may attack her. We also know that she takes critic very personal, so .. yeah, could end up this way.
  21. I love how this interwiev is less whiny and depressive. The first thing that came to my mind when she talked about the gurur was "Oh, so that's the original daddy!" About the FMWUTTT-thing: I don't think it's about Gaga. Gaga never officially critisized Lana and I don't see any similarities in her style. Of course, the feud could have been taking place in the "so legit" time, meaning that Gaga talked bad about Lana while being in the indie-underground-scene. But the sentence "people believe her, she's really successful" kind of indicates that the person Lana talks about critisized her in front of the mainstream audience. Becuase of that I thinkn it's Lorde. Lorde sneered around a lot in front of the press, who aready often critized Lana for being too atificial. And Lorde's style is often compared to Lana's. I don't think the line "Fucked My Way Up To The Top" has to refer to the singer lana's talking about, maybe she's ironically using this line to taunt the other singer with her own critic (in an exaggerated way, like "yeah, you're real art whilst I just fucked my way up to the top"). If you see it this way, the song could still refer to Lorde very well, without assuming that Lorde "fucked her way up tot he top". She's ridiculing the other singer by frankly singing this very catchy and controversial line, but so ironically that everyone sees that she#s not admitting something but making fun of someone else who critisized her. And I don't thin Lana will restrain to diss a 17y old. Remember her bitchy yt-comments? I would really like to see how she's using Lorde's face to mob the floor!
  22. When she has her next EP and they pull a "Dark Paradise"-thing by releasing UV as a new major single I guess if this information's right, the video will come out together with the Album-release.
  23. The Japanese itunes Version features all 16 Tracks.
  24. I really think that UV is going to be the we ... supersad version of BtD. BtD was very tragical but had a lot of joy in it too, lots of retro-references and everything. Paradise had a more calm sound, half relaxing, half desperate. And now UV really sounds like a supersad album from what we've heard. Even BBY has some kind of undertone ... I have a feeling that, at least the non-bonus-track-version, will leave us with a lump in our throats
