Brian Wilson, Barrie, Emile Haynie, Gorgio Moroder ...

Quite a lot songs to look foreward to (if all of them really are going to happen)
    When is his album coming?
If it's a real thing, I am very happy about it. i like UVs sound, but I also loved his work on Paradise and BtD (even if i agree that some songs are overproduced).

Yeah, she did a good job in creating the most annoying bubblegum-song everr.

Maybe that's why it's on the list ...

Born To Die - You're a matter-of-fact kind of person, smart and you keep a low profile most of the time. When you let someone get close to you, however, you'll share your deepest darkest secrets and show an intimate involvement. You think a lot and it sometimes causes you to get depressed. You're extremely romantic and you find beauty in every tragedy, even when it breaks your heart at first. Don't forget to come out of your own world sometimes, others would really appreciate your calm yet dreamy personality!

This could have easily been a Lanasong, judgingfrom the lyrics. The only difference would have been that in this case there would have been a "I am yours,I love you so much" line ...

Diet Mountain Dew is a nice song, which really has some good "falling in love" and "rose-colored glasses" vibes.

The people at Pitchfork went home and puked after they put Lana in the list. They didn't dare to exclude her totally. The biggest newspaper in Sweden put Born To Die ( the album) in the top ten of the decade. Lists are made by people, and some are idiots. Nothing to get upset about. Call me maybe and some other "classics" on the list tells me all about what they are.

Still no release date for this album?

Last Girl On Earth is very good, all those metaphors etc.
I also love the lyrics for Off To The Races, Shades Of Cool, Blue Jeans, Without You, Is This Happiness, Black Beauty, National Anthem and Money Power Glory alot. And lots of Sirens songs have good lyrics (however they lack interesting sound in return)

    Jim helped me up
I thanked him 'cause I fell really hard
    Jim said "No prob'"
And then we both went our own way
    This is Ultrakindness ...

I always wanted this cover in a big, hq version but never found it ... I kind of like it even though her lips look a little bit awkward. And for some strange reason I always associate this Nodland shoot with Diet MNT Dew xD

Sad how everything about this "portraial of a modern romance", for which VG is praised by many critics, was completely unintentional ...

    My suggestion would be:

Born To Die (one of her signature songs)
    Summertime Sadness (most known one)
    Video Games (the break-through song)
Blue Jeans (so beautiful and also one of her signature songs)
National Anthem (good example of her "hip hop beat" vibes)
Dark Paradise (many here don't like the song, but I still think it is one of her popular songs many people know)
Million Dollar Man (another song she often plays live and it really shows her songwriter talen)
Without You (very popular song, even people who are not big fans like it)
    Ride (her "magnum opus")
Cola (common, everyone has to know this line!)
Blue Velvet (shows her retro-vibes, and it's a very popular cover bc of the commercial)
Gods & Monsters (good example of her "dark and doom" -vibes)
Young & Beautiful (very popular song)
    West Coast (next big hit)
    Old Money (UV's Without You)
Florida Kilos (example of one of her more upbeat songs)
    Ultraviolence (second era)
Shades Of Cool (very well recieved song with bond vibes)

and maybe also Brooklyn Baby and/or Off To The Races.

Because this are lots of "signature" and most popular songs and they show the different styles she uses.

The list is very diverse which is good, but Call Me Maybe being on there is........embarrassing.

So... since women are quite feminine themselves, I guess if you are attracted to them, that means you're gay.
