If she still has the rights to the music she made under capitol, the ones that will make the cut are probably;
  All My Lovers Die    Descending   I Pray For Rain (she'd be insane not to)   Innocent Kind   Don't Forget   Downhill Lullaby   Maybe (probably not): guardian   My sad suspicion is that she doesn't have much more (if any) other than these. The other leaked songs are not really good, so Idk. I think the whole delay has been due to her not being finished or satisfied with the record. I also suspect she barely recorded any new music since 2019  — Guardian (2014); IPFR (2015); AMLD, DL, DF (2017/2018); Descending (2019) — Most of the other leaks are from 2015... so yeah, based on a decade of evidences since I've been following her and anticipating this album, I don't believe she ever had enough (good) material for the record other than these songs, and the main reason is that she probably got messed up with some bad stuff and has been dealing with the aftermath of that for some years, but I digress. Anyway, I'm rooting for her and I hope she gets to officially release at least All My Lovers Die & I Pray For Rain, because they're THAT good and genuinely instant classics (and Guardian as well). What a waste..              

why does sky needs a pr team anyway is not like she's actively working i'm pretty sure she could manage the minimal amount of work she does by herself

MASOCHISM is NOT coming.

they are representatives. they do PR for artists. they secure brand deals and arrange public appearances like attendance to fashion shows and other events. they have nothing to do with music or releases. they are not management. she also has a publishing deal with Third Side Music. it just means they can globally license and publish her music to make money for her (and get a cut themselves). they also don't have anything do about getting her to record or release music. i don't know if she has a manager or management team. she sounds unmanageable. she must have some sort of tour manager or someone at Capitol/Third Side helping her out with booking shows and interviews, but that seems to be it. i seriously doubt she has any sort of solid team and i imagine it's due to her behaviour and her affinity toward firing everyone. when your label thinks you are difficult to work with, you act like a spoiled brat and fire professionals in your team and lose someone like Elton John who used to manage you, maybe you're the problem.

I'm so over her arrogance. We get it, we just don't like it. You can make bad art as a hobby. But don't expect people to throw millions at you and sing your praises if this is the best you can do.

And now she posted this, probably because she's oversensitive to criticism and doesn't like how many people vocally hated the 'EVIL' visualizer. What did she honestly expect? This era has been a mess. She's always pulled the "clearly you just don't get my art" card though, so I guess I'm not surprised.

If she didn't just mean that she was waiting on outside funds, I'm confused. Because it almost sounds like she's saying she doesn't care to flesh out the era if she can't make the film, and is only putting out 13 MVs to get it over with now/match her past numbers. I know compromise isn't her thing- but come on.
 
She could've just cut the script to fit 13 slightly longer MVs, solving the "problem" and negating her need for 13 unnecessary, plotless placeholders. PORTALS is already a 1hr6m album, each video backed by thousands at least, so it's crazy that she's acting like there's not enough time or money to execute her ideas in MVs. Other artists don't even get more than 1 or 2 videos per album.. It's odd seeing her waste her opportunities.

Give us a solid alt pop album more Tunnel Visions & Mother of Pearl vibe stuff please 

So apparently the film isn't coming bc the label can't afford to fund both the film and 13 music videos. Can't pull up the IG comments she implied this in rn but yeah. What a surprise.
