Am I the only one who has no idea what to say in these things?   I kind of do I guess, but it's either a bit cheesy/creepy or if I don't go in depth it just doesn't feel like I'm saying anything at all. But I really want to be in this! And my main 'talent' is supposed to be writing, ironically.

Can I write down my phone number at the end?   (I need a creep-checker instead of a spell-checker). I guess it's a bit delusional to think she'd make any use of it though.

It's funny, i was just thinking about this the other day and i had an epiphany of sorts. When i sent her a message with a link to the Money Hunny cover i recorded, i addressed her as Lizzy. I'm not sure why i did that, but i didn't give it much thought. I guess i thought it was cute and personal (why did i feel like i needed to be cute and personal?) Since then, for unrelated reasons, i've been thinking about stuff like identity and different trangender issues, and in thinking about some of these things, i suddenly realized that it was in very poor taste to call her Lizzy because it disregards or overrides her decision. It's almost like taking away a person's agency and putting a decision that is not yours in your hands. It's presumptuous and even condescending. I don't think it's really any different than a situation where someone is, say, born female and wishes to be referred to as "he" and not respecting that decision just because the person wasn't born male. She chose the name Lana Del Rey, so i think that decision ought to be respected. It's not our call to address her by anything else.

Perhaps some of you will think that i'm overthinking this and taking it too seriously, but i just thought i'd pass along my thoughts on the matter because i think it's worth thinking over. For whatever it's worth, i really regret calling her Lizzy.

Why aren't you fascinated, Monicker? It's obvious that once you find out who he is, you grow a unicorn horn and wings. Also, Lana will come to your house and give you a firm handshake like your pastor at church would and tell you she's just so proud that someone solved the mystery of her past love life. You must not be a real fan. Smh.

I don't care either. It's interesting but I'm not going to dig deep into that part of her life. Of course I'd read about it if info surfaced, but I won't go searching for it myself.

I can get how it'd be pretentious if someone went around all the time going "omg lizzy is so much cooler and better than lana," but when posed as an actual question, I don't see why it would be pretentious if someone said they prefer Lizzy. In a way, they're two different personas, two different styles, so I think it makes sense to prefer one over another. Of course it's the same person physically, and there's definitely still Lizzy in Lana, but there is a distinct difference I think. I myself prefer Lizzy.

The sentence "I want to make my life a work of art" makes me roll my eyes in several directions like a loose cannon exorcist

"You're Gonna Love Me" is one of my favorites. I love Sirens (aside from Birds of A Feather-- that song makes me cringe w all the autotune or w/e they've done to her voice!).

1949 is also a song that's on my "most played" list.

I was on her side from the beginning. I don't think I could wrap my head around how anyone that young could have a voice like that at first. She really was just incredible. Her voice had such range and power and her phrasing was dead on when she was sang jazz. If she was alive and making records, I don't think Adele would be as big as she is.

When she was on, she was such an incredible performer:

Lana strategically holding those awards because of the coldness, but not noticing the unfortunately placed circles on them . . .

Its not really about lana, so to say but:
When ever playing dangerous comes on I imagine me and my teacher making out really violently up against a wall, and then i change the "Do you have a girl? I dont see a ring on your finger." To "Do you have a boy? I dont see a ring on your finger."
I make up an entire music video in my head...I usually replay the song, so i can replay the "video".
    its so hawt.<3

Princess Superstar is Concetta Kirschner, a rapper DJ and producer based in New York. She worked with Lana back in 2009, one of the tracks they worked on together (Moi Je Joue) leaked online last year. We contacted Princess Superstar to ask her a few questions about her experiences with Lana Del Rey AKA Lizzy Grant. Here’s what she had to say:

Princess Superstar’s upcoming album “The New Evolution” is out April 15th.

ya know, I've noticed that I sometimes find myself scoffing at those normal fans every time they seem so excited over finding a "new" interview or photo shoot that I've already seen millions of times before.
I dismiss them immediately as if I they were wrong for not already knowing certain Lana things.
I'm also 1 of those that complain over how repetitive her interviews seem but ur post def. gave me some clarity over these kind of situations, lol

sigh, ive always imagined I'd make a sort of ~inside joke~ with Lana if I ever met her. Like bring up some of the things she's previously said in interviews.....
