Please listen to her whole discography every single unreleased song available to us , and then come back and tell me that her sound is not connected with the people she works with . Of course she has a signature sound she is miss F Lana Del Rey  BUT, denying the input of the people behind her albums is just like hiding an elephant inside a room . Lana is a singer songwriter. Not a *producer*. It is the producers job to challenge the artists , to make sure that the ideas come into fruition , that the sound is crystal clear and the production shines and compliments the soundscapes the artist has dreamed of . Ultraviolence ended up being her masterpiece  because she was pushed to her limits .

Disagree with this a bit. It's unfair to say people are "reducing it to a piano album." It is a piano album factually (a few tracks aside), and some people will inevitably be put off by that.

I don't think it's fair to say they're "driven by nostalgia" or too obsessed with beat driven music. Piano is just not for everyone. The exact same would happen with Dua Lipa if she suddenly started making piano-heavy albums. She'd lose followers.

People want to feel happy and listen to music at the gym and feel good about their life. Piano music is deep but often depressing. And I say this as a big LDR fan who loves the new album. I love it to pieces, but I also know that I'll be going back to High by the Beach, Ride, Summertime Sadness and Doin' Time more in the long run - cuz those songs make me feel good. Makes sense?

Yes, I agree, it's so frustrating when I confuse "Mariners Apartment Complex" for "Maroon" and it turns out it was "The Louvre" the whole damn time!

Jack Antonoff enablers saying it is all Lana's choice, pls explain why if u listen to instrumentals by LDR Taylor Swift or Lorde you probably wouldnt be able to tell which one is which? GTFO!

That being said I unexpectedly loved Ocean Blvd A LOT. Might be my fav album, though I am for sure biased when it comes to UV because of the sentimental value it has for me.

A song worthy of being called an UV outtake production wise
Edit: do we know who produced this? Rick, Dan or even Greg Kurstin?

Holly! I Agree 100% I would replace kintsugi with sweet . That's all.
