I think we talked alot about what we sonically expect or wish for Whf but what do you think could be the lyrical themes. What lyrical themes do you expect or which lyrical direction you want Lana to take?

This is a really interesting take. I feel super differently cause I feel like HM is almost more of a fantasy piece - what with all the big cinematic sound and talk of gangsters, sunshine, limousines and saaawwwfft iiiice creeeeaammm   - whereas NFR feels much more rooted in reality and earthy. I get much more of an UV vibe from NFR personally.

California is my favourite from the album too. With every listen i love this song more. It really gets in my soul. I can feel the emotion in my heart and the was she sings in the chorus..I can really feel that she would do everything for this person. Lana would even start to drink again (the liquor line). Actually this song /the feeling i get from it reminded me of brother. You don't know that but I'm lost my brother in the beginning of 2018 and it was a very hard time and I still miss him so much but I would do anything for him if he would come back to earth. And I would throw a party all night long if he would be here and I would hit up old places with him. It is not same situation like Lana describes in the Song but it reminded of my situation. This song is really a masterpiece.

Y'all are terrible. Although NFR has some flaws, it's a good album. You may not like it but could you stop to pass your personal opinion down as a fact?

Banned for having lyrics from a ten minute long masterpiece in your signature

I've said it once and I'll say it again, THIS is the sound I want for her upcoming record.

This! A guitar driven album would be anything that I'm want from Lana. The opening song could start with a piano intro and end with acoustic guitar . It would lead well from Nfr (Hope) to the new record. The Songs in the beginnig of the album could have a acoustic guitar (like Wild on you which got mentioned before ) and maybe some songs acoustic guitar and strings or a horn again like in Nfr/California. The album could evolve to songs with E-Guitars and drums. A summery bop with a Florida Kilos sound or a Freak sounding song with guitars would also be fantastic.
In the end the album can calm down to few acoustic songs. Imagine a closer with a similar sound like Pawn Shop Blues

A legendary song. & such a beautiful, majestic, cinematic, & thematically perfect ending to Born to Die.

I wish Lana would do a mini documentary, like Madonna did with Madame X, explaining the concept of the album and the production and the whole process. It would be a great promo and it would feed us for life

Thank you...I'm sorry for your loss too There are times where it is easier to deal with the situation but there are still times where it gets really worse. But Lanas music helps me so much..and Im glad that I found Lanaboards

This made me think about which surpriseswe can have on Whf. Like we got on Nfr the three year old bar and the 2,5 year old California which is from a side project
with Zach Dawes. In one interview Lana said that some songs which didn't make it into the record sound like the the L4l Title track. It seems that with Lana is everything possible...

I just love to imagine that she could be recording songs for WHF right now: the first leg of the tour is done, Jack was in town yesterday...

yeah, I'd love Yosemite as well. But hey, who knows? I was dead sure TNBAR would never make it to NFR, so...
NFR taught me that no matter how much we think we have the damn thing figured out, she will always surprise us and those surprises are more magical than what we thought we wanted in the first place. Yes, I wanted more psychedelic guitars like VB and yet, the songs are just so amazing without them.

Yeah that's sadly true.My delusional ass even had a thought that Yosemite could be in the acoustic songs part if they have a happier sound but that's so unrealistic that I shouldn't think about that lmao
