Honestly the vibe of this album is coming together soooo nicely i love every track we have  gotten so far it will have me swaying for weeks  ,and the Pink flamingos part

Lorde and Lana have different sounds but there's a little of Lana in Lorde's album. The trip hop aspect, the writing style, I don't know how to describe it but I feel it there. She said herself she was one of the artists she had been listening to.
 
As far as why Lana would do it? Idk. So Legit was fairly petty, even if I like it a lot, it's a venting song, it was an inside look into her mind and that look shows she is the type of person to write a revenge song. She might have grown a little out of that but she did favorite that tweet that had the spikey bracelet meant for Lorde, and her dad had that post about pure heroine. Lorde said something about it being a dangerous anti-feminist message because it promoted dependence or something around those lines. It had to do with feminism.

I stayed up until 3am to listen to the album and I need more time to make my opinion on it but IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOD. Fave songs so far are Florida Kilos, Fucked My Way Up To The Top, Ultraviolence, Sad Girl but I love everything else a lot too.

Also the "Life is awesome/I confess" makes me think of Lorde's comment about how Lana's lyrics weren't relatable because she sings about fancy cars and diamonds while Lorde and her friends "couldn't afford to pay for a taxi."

"Money, Power, Glory" even sounds like it's riffing on Lorde's "Glory and Gore," she is def. wielding daggers
