Honeymoon is her most cohesive. From start to finish it feels like one complete project which i s nice. Honestly, I’d say Born to Die is her best lyrically. We haven’t gotten very many songs as unique or well written as like Off to the Races, Video Games, National Anthem, or Carmen even. Ultraviolence falls victim to the “chorus is just the song title repeated” curse, (MPG, Sad Girl, FMWUTTT). I really don’t get the hype tbh. It’s everyone's favourite album of hers but it really falls short the second half in my opinion. The first half is amazing though, without question. Lust for Life could have been great if it wasn’t so all over the place. Love Song is the only song on NFR that I feel like is bad. Everything else is spectacular. Now I just need to hear it in HQ to confirm it’s place as her best album.

If we don’t get music videos for Bartender and Cinnamon, what’s the point in living?

i think one thing that makes bartender so special is how complex the lyrics are and they really tell a story, most of the songs on the album have pretty short hooks and end up just repeating the same lyrics but with bartender it's almost classic lana storytelling a la this is what makes us girls and off to the races

hi everyone   just got here and i know almost everyone has heard the album already i mean me too but if i had known i wouldn't have heard it, the quality is bad and i think it's more worth waiting to hear everything in good quality...
that said, i think this is the most cohesive and coherent album lana has made to date, it's true that all the songs are very pure and not very complex but i think this one is going to be placed with honeymoon in my top 2, btw i can't get over how good "the greatest" is, def in my top with "california" and surprisingly I liked "bartender" more than I would have ever thought, in my top too. HIAB and love song were my faves but have disappointed me a bit, i really hope that changes in good quality

We need more of this. I was reading the lyrics on genius, and the 'is it safe, is it safe, to just be who we are?' lyrics already're breaking me
I feel like if the record were a perfume, Bartender would be that strange note that kinda contrasts to everything else. Idk maybe it's the tone, but it's not really fair for me to really say since I haven;t listened to the record yet gonna check the lyrics now brb

edit: the lyrics seem interesting enough. I think the no outro fits too since the chorus seems so long..

not complaining but has someone noticed little things on the production? there are parts in some of the songs i feel like the production breaks loud at the same time that her voice and i can't hear her (her diction i think) properly, and the other thing is that in 2 or 3 songs i've noticed the chorus breaks without any transition and i think it doesn't sound good, im ok with it but just asking
