There's only one Amazon review for it, and that's one star, but they go into detail about it. I guess it might be an OK book, but not particularly interesting.

On the one hand, this is exciting, and I can't wait to hear if something comes out of it. On the other hand, she does this three times every year with different producers and writers, and we never hear about it before it's dropped for another Rick collaboration, so I'll be waiting with a normal breathing pattern.

People suffering from schizophrenia have a certain pattern to their speech and writing, which I've seen again and again online and in real life, and it always makes me sad to see people reposting things like that as 'true' or 'rumour'.

I don't get how people are getting sucked in by this. Lana's statement is 100% compatible with what Radiohead's publishers have said - If they're talking to her about asking for credit, and she's refusing, the next step is going to be a lawsuit. Lana's just telling it how it is - they've asked her to do something, she's refusing, and the only alternatives Radiohead have are to drop it (which it doesn't look like they're willing to do) or go to court. Anyone who calls her a liar is either being disingenuous or dumb.

Of course she can keep it on the record as a 'cover', but I think it would sting her too much to have the composer credit for a song which is so personal for her, to be in anyone else's name. If that happened, she'd probably prefer to just erase it altogether.

I saw Utopia on display today - the cover of the vinyl looks striking as hell (the CD looked good too, but size really does make a difference here ). I'm going to try to pick it up on the weekend.

I saw PJ Harvey there earlier this year, and it was magnificent - they've definitely improved the Music Bowl over the years. If you're not anxious to get to the very front of the standing area, the seats are a great place to watch and listen.

I'm not here for any arguments, but I listened to the record right through three times on Friday, and a lot of the connections between songs are starting to really make sense. I hate comparing records, but this might have the edge on Ultraviolence as an overall album, but the best songs on UV are better than the best songs on L4L.
