I hope you realize when you lose a significant amount of weight you lose it from all over your body which includes your face. This  happened to me a little when I lost 50lb. That + getting older + maybe she isn’t getting as much filler anymore IDK but also who cares. Who knows there could be other personal or medical reasons, but it really isn’t that crazy considering those factors it makes perfect sense. I highly doubt she was on ozempic, you don’t gain muscle on it. Losing facial volume is a normal part of life, that’s what happens as you age. I think she looks beautiful

the ozempic topic is TIRED. move it to reddit or twitter. i'm sick of hearing about her weight speculation. the majority of people on this forum don't give a shit. as someone who has struggled with my own body issues, and i have family members and friends who are on ozempic, it's actually really benefiting their mental and physical health - there is ZERO reason to speculate on Lana's weight. 1) you don't know if she is, and if even she is, 2) you don't konw why. period. PERIOD. there are so many reasons to take these medications. enough. and this is the marriage topic. what are u even doing?

People lose facial volume as they age, also they lose facial volume if they lose weight (using ozempic or not), hope this helps.

The irony of saying this to then go on and unleash a litany of misogynistic terminology. For far too long gay men have used their relationship with women as an excuse to coin terms like bitch and Hoe for literally no reason. Because you don’t mean it in a violent or necessarily hateful context does not make the perpetuation of such terms any more acceptable. The fact that most of these gay men then say they love women, and spend half their day on the internet commenting on them makes it all the more concerning.  You’re not exclusive in this conversation, I have trans friends too, aside from the general transphobic slurs you’re complaining about, they’re also called a bitch, skank, whore etc on top of everything else they’re subject to. My trans friends can’t win. Attacked  by words calling them “not a woman”, and then attacked by words designed to dehumanise women. They literally can’t win, and this mindset that is somehow ok to use these words under the guise of flamboyance is helping to project misogyny unto lgbt individuals and they’re biggest ally’s alike. so how’s about taking a  step down from your ivory tower, having a good glimpse at the hypocrisy staring back at from your reflection and stop normalising hate speech in all its forms against people, just because you disagree with their life choices. Or is equality -in its truest sense applicable to all and every demographic imaginable - not actually all that important to you?

We form a picture of her based on what we do know to be fact, but what we assemble from those partial facts is only an estimation and not exact, and will never be exact--especially because we live in an age where people reject objective-as-possible fact in favor of their own interpretation or belief system, and find it hard to live with unknowns. 
 
Almost 70 years after her death, some of the facts of Marilyn Monroe's life, character, and death are still unknown but hotly debated. There's nary a major public figure about which this is not true: Jackie Kennedy, Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, and figures with lower global profiles, like Janice Joplin and Jeff Buckley. 
 
Stanning is not far from hero worship, which makes a cult out of the hero in question, and worship often turns into hate when the worshipped figure does not act in accordance with what is expected--and in which followers are deeply invested.  
 
I agree, this marriage and relationship appear awkward to my eyes, and her husband appears gauche, even coarse based on some of his social media, but I don't know the truth, the facts, what lies in their hearts or what they share. I don't know either of them.
 
To me, it seems better to draw what conclusions I can from the hard but partial facts, but otherwise give the entire situation the benefit of the doubt, live with all the unknowns, and wish Lana the best.

This is a major event for Lana and it deserves a place to discuss, if this thread gets locked then the discussion will simply be carried over across other threads… 

i honestly see both sides of the argument, and i feel like it's somewhat nuanced, i feel happy for her, and i genuinely wish her the best, and i don't think we should automatically assume it's going to end badly, make silly, snide jokes about her upcoming divorce album, or completely denounce her as a person, but... i do believe we have every right to be disappointed in and concerned about the man she's choosing to marry
 
i don't think some of you really understand how alarming it is that she's choosing to be with somebody who actively and fervently supports donald trump, someone who wants to strip away the rights of many, perhaps you don't think it will make any difference to you, but many people, LGBT, POC, women, ETC will be negatively impacted by him becoming president once again, if he wins, it could affect the rights and the general life happiness and satisfaction of LGBT people, women may no longer be able to acesss abortions, or perhaps even birth control, and some republicans have even stated that interracial marriage should be left to the states, it genuinely could impact you and your life, and if not you, it could impact somebody you care about and love, her husband literally shared graphic violence towards transgender women on facebook, and, no matter how you feel about certain sociopolitical matters, violence, discrimination and hatred isn't okay, and it isn't normal or something we should just look past, and we have every right to be disappointed that she married somebody who holds those kinds of views, and we shouldn't just brush it off as us being parasocial, or needing to touch grass
 
ultimately, we're all very invested in her, and we're all parasocial to an extent, we're literally registered on a website entirely dedicated to her, some of us have thousands of posts, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that we naturally want to discuss what's happening in her life, she is a public figure after all, and it was inevitable people were going to find out about her husband's political views, she made the choice to marry someone like that, and although we ultimately should respect her autonomy and her ability to make decisions, it's silly to expect people who are very invested in her as an artist, and even as a person, to not have thoughts on it
 
i think we just need to keep it as civil as possible, despite the fact that we are discussing pretty heavy topics that people often feel strongly about

To be fair, I think fans are allowed to be disappointed that she married a Trump supporter but I feel like she’s made it obvious where she stands the last year. She’s at least pretty tolerant of Republicans. What I love about this all is that she really does not care about her celebrity or what people say or think. It’s admirable. 
 
But aside from that I hope she is happy and that this works out for them. Lana is so random and messy so this isn’t surprising but still shocking because it all happened so fast. At the end of the day we don’t know Lana and honestly barely know what she’s really been through in her life because she’s so private and only shared tidbits of her experiences.
