Why are ya'll crying over Justin? Lana is the superior musician. And plus, it's not like Lana's gonna win over the grammy's. She's blacklisted in so many outlets anyways. COCC is gonna serve us none the less. Chill. 

Also the fact that he tried saying on his IG stories that the name “Justin” was synonymous with “justice” is sooo laughable when him and Justin Timberlake built a career off hate for women. To quote lana, “I am a hater”

I’m not worried at all about Justin blocking lana. Especially if changes debuted so poorly. He’s more of a streams and singles gal. Lana’s fans BUY her album. 

i'm not saying that i want somebody to fail... but there's a possibility his upcoming album won't even do well since his last album was very underwhelming and "yummy" was objectively shitty, but like i've said, he's very well-known and people are going to pay attention no matter what, the same could be said for any mainstream artist, ariana grande, drake, etc. it doesn't matter if their music is bad or not, at the end of the day we all know lana's music is artistic and authentic and nobody can take that away from her

Period I think Justin won’t debut as high as last time but probably still quite high like 150-200k but Lana already has more presales than NFR which sold 104k first week so i don’t think the gap will be that big.

justin bieber may be objectively more well-known, and his manager will do anything to get the #1 spot, but his samsung-ringtone album will never be able to compare to lana's early spring rural psychedelic folk magnum opus

I think it's fair not to care about charts when it comes to Lana because she's not really the promo/chart hungry type
 
I just want all her albums to have longetivity and critical acclaim because they deserve it <3

On a bright note, Justin will get the lashings (rightfully so) and Lana's praise  will stand out even more.
And a little competition is sometimes good to boost numbers, fans get more active towards buying/streaming. Plus Justin's audience is not even the same as Lana's.
BTD and Honeymoon were #2, NFR was #3. I don't care about peaks at this point 

So we're 1hour away from the usual time it premieres on UK radio so it's safe to say it's not coming today 
 
Also I don't think Bieber is any competition 

Not Mustin releasing the same day as her. At least the quality difference between one album and the other will be noticed.

at the end of the day, even if lana doesn't get the #1 spot, we all know she's talented and successful, having a #1 spot does not determine that at all

tbh miss eclipse seems pretty picky when it comes to lana’s music (in a good way) and as someone pretty picky myself who always has high expectations when it comes to her it made me even more excited to hear that he goes as far as to say it’s one of her best openers, i have a lot of hope for once and how often does that happen ? 

i'm just grateful that i'm a part of this amazing forum and pre-release era, we may be delusional and chaotic but we're such a close-knit community <3

the day I read COTCC post release thread is the day I finally can rest 

Anyone else getting that lovely warm and nostalgic feeling just before spring starts, and you feel your energy start to shift and perspective starts to change and there's just an overall positive and lightness in the air around you, it's like your body preparing for the summer, feels like a perfect time, and its so nice that we're almost getting a new Lana album.
 
Spring is the perfect time for her to release, especially March
