Wow you guys are really on the wrong path. We're talking about the DEATH of a men. How selfish you and Lanz and ben could be to ignore that? She should post something. Also I'm tired of her, her management and her bands ignorance. Everytime we complain about something they find the mistake on us make us look stupid and rude. This happened with BLM now, tour cancelation last year, setlist issue 2 years ago and maybe more when I wasn't following LB. I don't think I'll be able to stan her anymore. Maybe listen to her songs but that's it. And this coming from someone who defended her for 4 years now. I'm tired and I can't do this anymore when she keeps making mistakes over mistakes.

lana shouldn't get a pass for ignoring something like this because she needs to heal the wounds she practically gave herself when she wrote that post that was not well thought out at all. and as a fan of anyone: you don't have to agree with everything thing they do.  That's not being a fan thats being an idolizer.

Lol can ya’ll stop defending her and saying “well maybe she’s doing something behind the scenes”. Okay? And? She has millions of followers and while backlash is possible, if she cares enough, she’ll post. She’ll bring awareness. Simple. End of. Nothing more about it. Silence speaks volumes.

when you have a platform, you have the moral obligation to speak out and point out when obvious injustices like this occur (especially if your fandom is majority white and lost in their own world like lana’s is, she could be raising awareness in a group of people that a lot of other pop stars can’t reach)

I’ll always love her music... but I think I’m temporarily revoking my stan card. Something ain’t sitting right with me.

The level of mental gymnastics some of y'all do for the sake of defending her, smh.

The past week left me so disappointed in her, tbh, it's just mentally painful. Lana meant A LOT to me and then suddenly she (herself!) reveals that she's just living in her own bubble, ignorant, only concerned about people who "look and act like her" and making herself a martyr. I'm just SO close to unstanning.

I get that people'd like for her to say something. Just fuck it and be there. who cares how people perceive it the act should shine, and if they don't get it, then leave them be to think things over. 

Maybe she's sore, maybe she's lounging who really knows. it'll seem apologetic. but a simple, "I'm aware of how this situation played out. I'm already doing reparation work etc. perceive this how you want, but I'm doing livestream/awareness spread etc. bc my heart aches for the people. be safe. insert links to petition etc." 

this might not be perceived as holistically selfless. she might not even be in the brightest of light, but that'd still be something towards a more unifying direction.

maybe she's helping her friends right now. maybe she is doing work. maybe she is writing on events and reflecting. maybe her work's still fermenting and she wants to refine her statement and perceives it to be her best addition to help. there's a lot we don't know. maybe she just can't handle it right now. situation is she got checked last time she opened up. that plays into her being vocal. benefit of the doubt for the sake of principle. 

don't judge the woman for her past. that's just fucked up. no one should be subjugated casually if any reason, for the decisions they've made that they're still trying to live thru. care for the person that they are now, and hope that those positive ideals stay with them.
