The way people forget that she is a black woman that been repressed her whole life and career. I'm not defending her acts, but that album was her fucking legacy, have some respect.

The biggest difference is the sort of emotions being expressed. I think her other albums are a sort of cinematic + dramatic kind of  emotion. NFR is a more bare and vulnerable kind of emotion. 
 
Also her past albums have a bit of pity party feeling, the emotions you get when you're in the heat of the action and everything feels like the end of the world. NFR sort of gives the vibe of moving on with your life but just sort of reflecting on your past. 

Anyways. I'm sad her career had to have such a downfall. She could have single handedly brought back house music. knowing her childhood and struggles with mental health it would have made me happy to see her thrive 

Does anyone else have a problem with the part of bartender when she goes "bart-t-t-t-"? I love the song but that part just makes me lose my mind. It's the way that you can hear her mouth make subtle whisper sounds. It's like nails on a chalk board to me.  am i just crazy

Idk who you're talking about but pretty much everyone here is agreeing that it isn't an issue? As a white person it isn't up to me to say if it is or it isn't, so I simply said that she can avoid problems by educating herself on such matters.
