i definitely don't mind it and i think it's one of her better album covers but most of her album artworks are definitely either of their time not necessarily in a bad way just that it looks dated (oops, britney) or just not good (circus, femme fatale)
i think blackout is definitely of its time but it's aged better than some of her other album covers i think in part because of how iconic it is

No one talks about her around here?

Blackout my favorite pop album ever 

Looove the Blackout dolby atmos mix. Usually em dolby atmos mixes sound like literal shit but this one really highlights all the hidden layers of the songs and gives a whole new listening experience.

I usually have Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio turned off 95% of the time because I find it gimmicky and worse sounding than lossless, but I’m currently listening to this, and it’s truly amazing for a lifelong Britney fan. It’s really a whole new way to experience the album and is making me fall in love with it all over again. 
 
I still think lossless sounds better and more polished, but this almost feels like experiencing the album live. I’m hearing things I’ve never heard before and this is coming from someone who’s listened to Blackout *literally* hundreds of times.

Did you really write a hundred songs for The Loneliest Time?
I didn’t count a hundred, but we were going through B-sides the other night with my A&R, and he’s like, “Well, what are the contenders?” And I’m like, “There’s 65 that I’ve listened to that I could make something of, so we can narrow it down from there.” Those were the ones that I liked, but there’s more from that pile.
 
Does that mean we’re getting a Loneliest Time B-Sides, like with Emotion and Dedicated before it?
I’ll say that I opened up the folder of the songs and started listening again with that question in mind. You know what? I think the verdict is out still.

The first few songs didn’t grab me but the whole middle / back end of the album is amazing.

need her to make a record exploring the ballads of the album.
 
bends/ no thinking over the weekend / western wind / go find yourself or whatever are all very interesting songs and so so beautiful and touching. need more of that

the loneliest time (song) surprisingly getting the most plays out of all the singles from. i may be speaking to soon but it’s already a carly classic to me. that bridge and outro is SOOOOOO good 

I'm pleasantly surprised by the album! She knows how to make a chill song without it being boring. It could be my headspace right now, but I'm enjoying the record a lot.

if anything, “in the zone” and “blackout” are the most honest Britney vocals to me and the vocals i hold onto as a fan. From “circus” on it gets messy. It wasn’t until “glory” where I could hear some actual old school Britney vocals.
